De loft is modern ingericht en van alle gemaken voorzien. De communicatie met eigenaren verloopt heel soepel en de centrale ligging is fijn.

Naar onze smaak lag de accommodatie te dicht op de weg, waardoor we best wat geluidsoverlast was. We hadden de pech dat er ook precies wegwerkzaamheden waren in de periode dat wij er waren

Great communication. Lovely family-run property with a personal touch. Only 2 duplex apartments and a shared pool. Small little but important touches around the apartment which said a lot about our hosts. Arriving very late at night there was milk, coffee, tea, little treats and fantastic olive oil soap waiting for us. Kokkini Hani is a quiet little Cretan village only 20min by bus from Heraklion. Cretans are lovely people. The food, wine and olive oil is amazing. The apartment is about a 10min walk from the nearest bus stop and another 5 min walk from the nearest sandy beach. The main village is about a 15min walk from the apartment along the main road running east-west. There are two supermarkets that have everything you need. All in all we had a wonderful stay and didn't want to leave.

Nothing. We loved it in Kokkini Hani/Gournes. However if you want a touristy place this is not for you. You'd be better off going Chania. If you are looking for a real homily Cretan experience, then this is for you.
