Tomprouk Seaview

I will start my review with the comments related to the hosts. Starting with Jenne and continuing with her parents, Elefterya and Andonis, we had a warm and very friendly welcome. We received vegetables and fruits from their garden (tomatoes, cucumbers, figs, grapes, melon) and their famous Raki drink. The house is very spacious and includes everything you need (even things you wouldn't expect). The kitchen is fully equipped. There is air conditioning everywhere. There are two large terraces where you can relax watching the sea at sunrise or sunset. The positioning of the house is exceptional with a panorama of the beach and water (being placed somewhere on the hill). The distance to the beach is a few hundred meters (600-700 m). The airport is 10 minutes by car, and the capital Heraklion 15 minutes. Everything we requested or asked was solved in the discussion with our hosts. We felt at home and that is why I recommend this apartment warmly and without hesitation.

Vertinnen Jenne var utrolig vennlig og hjelpsom i alt – hun fikk oss virkelig til å føle oss som hjemme. Leiligheten var ren, komfortabel og hadde en nydelig utsikt. Alt var godt organisert og stemningen var varm og innbydende

Ingenting negativt å si, men det er viktig å vite at det er nødvendig å leie bil for å komme seg rundt i området på en enkel måte.

We booked our taxi through booking.com. it was waiting for us when we arrived.There was air-conditioning throughout. A veranda wrapped around the apartment and all windows had built in mosquito nets, and a number of them had metal.roller blinds outside to give shade. The kitchen had a filter tap, so there was no need to buy bottled water. The freezer had a nifty little icecube tray. There was excellent wifi in the living area but not too good in the bedroom. The good part of this was that the kids were more likely to be with us than hiding out in their rooms. The hosts gifted us vegetables from the garden and olive oil and took us on a supermarket trip to heraklion to stock up. There were 3 smaller supermarkets in karteros and a lovely bakery. The beach was 10 minutes down the hill. Most days, the water was good. for 2 days, the waves were strong.. The walk into Karteros was between 15 and 20 minutes depending how far you wanted to.go. There is a local bus. The tickers were cheaper if you bought them inside the supermarket. We like quieter areas. We were in Kissamos 2 years ago. The streets were so noisy with mopeds and motorbikes 24/7. So the house and area was perfect for our family.

Myself and my hubbie found the beds hard but the kids liked them so it was preference. Otherwise the apartment great
