Via Inn Prime Akasaka

Room was pretty standard, clean and comfortable. Location excellent, close to subway and lots of restaurants for dinner, but still quiet. Onsen was the highlight.

Rooms a little small and a pillows not comfortable, would have been good to have a choice of pillows.

Nice facilities and really good location. Close to a lot of really nice restaurants and there’s a 7/11 right on the first floor, which was very convenient.

We were there during their annual electrical inspection which meant there would be a power outage. We were informed immediately when we checked in which we thought was good to plan ahead. The time written in big letters was 12:00pm - 3:00pm so we planned to leave the hotel right before 12. The next morning, they announced right before 11 that the outage was going to start at 11am. We were shocked and then checked the flyer we got, only to see that they wrote in smaller letters that it would be from 11am to 3pm. How do you have two separate times on the same flyer? Also, someone knocked on our door very early in the morning to empty the bin. Told her we didn’t need it because my jet lagged partner was finally sleeping and I didn’t want to wake him. She then forced her way in saying it wouldn’t take long and then proceeded to wake my partner with all her noise. I’m sure she was really nice and all but that was so so weird and we didn’t really need the bin emptied that badly, there was barely anything in it.

We like the location and cleanliness and this was our third stay there at Via Inn Prime Akasaka.

The room was very small.

Location was good. The bed itself We was comfortable and the amenities were very good.

Check in was strictly 3pm, breakfast was more Japanese aligned not a bad thing just not great for me personally. Pillows were concrete blocks.
