    All in all we had a good stay here but found some things could be better and were unnecessarily complicated. The positives were the location, the room size (twins are available for a decent price so rooms aren’t too cramped), the very friendly staff, the good bathrooms with strong water pressure and the rooftop terrace. The weak points: The breakfast area is more like a guesthouse setup than a hotel. It is basic and the setup is not suited for more than a few people at a time. It is basically the reception staff who prepare the breakfast. There’s western (cereal, bread, pancakes/waffle) and Japanese traditional breakfast offered. The hours are too short (last order at 8:30 if I remember correctly). Another unnecessary complication is with tbe room keys: they are necessary to operate the elevator and you can stop ONLY at the floor of your key. So if you are a group (as we were) with rooms on multiple levels, it becomes a bit of a headache. The staff were very helpful and gave extra keys but still it wasn’t practical. The terrace is very nice but unfortunately completely uncovered so any rain or strong sunshine makes it unusable. It is open until about midnight and closed during the day (at least when we tried to go up during the day it wasn’t accessible).
