The property is in a great area - Asakusa is has many nice shops around and even for Hogwarts lover a Hogwarts street. By foot in 5-10 minutes you will reach the theatre area with the Hogwarts cafe. Also otherwise Asakusa is a great area. The elevator is old but the hostel has an acceptable layout. It seems daily a cleaning staff is visiting

You should not forget it’s a hostel with sleeping chambers, It’s narrow and you have to be climbing on your bed. If you have any knee issues like me it will not be comfortable. It is cleaned once a day, but each time you enter the shower room it’s dirty due to the many people using it. Considering the budget this is ok I guess The security is week. If the door is forgotten to be locked from inside any stranger could come in the middle of the night. This happened 2 times during my 2 night stay. Generally around the hostel are bars and “red light” type of bars are also available with girls to entertain. There is no staff; you call the staff and get a code. It felt to me that once some customers have the code they can come back again. Mostly Japanese bar hoppers who have missed their train come here. But even though after 00:00 there is no check in it happened that some guys came at 3:00 easily unlocked the door, they were familiar with the place and slept for a few hours before they left hastily. obviously the guy didn’t want anybody to “catch” him. So, all in all, the security should be better, so guests don’t worry why strangers enter the faculty even after check in time in the middle of the night. Only lucky that there is low criminality in Japan. If such a week security would be in Barcelona I would be worried a lot.

In a good location and very affordable.

Bathroom can have a little bit more facilitation as I had to clean it when I first arrived.

リーズナブル。あまり人に会わない。

連泊らしき外国籍宿泊者の香水の匂いや夜中の電話の声がうるさかった。でもちゃんと寝れました。
