Apartment is in a good location up the hill from the old town. Its on a quiet mostly residential complex. It has a nice terrace with a sofa and sun lounger on, with lovely views over to Fuerteventura. There are a couple of supermarkets within walking distance. Its very close to the bus stop (Balcon de Mar) so easy to get there by bus from the airport, or to travel around to different places. Aricefe has a lovely harbour and nice for a trip out, so is Playa Blanca. Busses are cheap and reliable. Beaches are quite a walk from apartment, but clean and well maintained. So many nice restaurants to choose from depending on tastes.
The apartment is in need of updating in a number of areas. Whilst the bed was comfortable I was horrified to see the stains on the mattress topper when I stripped the bed on the last day. There should pillow and mattress covers.
Once Delio made contact via WhatsApp it was great and he was very friendly and kept in touch about picking the keys up, even when I was delayed. However none of the instructions came through until I was at the airport. As a solo traveller this was a bit unnerving, it should be explained in advance when the info would be sent.

We have stayed on Colina Del Sol before, so we knew what to expect from the complex and pool. The poolside bar, was great and did lovely meals and was very good prices. The apartment is in a good location with a sea view (over the roof tops). The complex is very hilly in that area, so people with mobility issues need to ve warned. The owner was very good and quick at responding to questions.
The apartment could do with some tlc. I had to clean the toilet before using it, and the shower doors felt like they were going to come off the rails when opening. The bed was too soft for our liking, and the pillows were very lumpy.
The apartment in front had 2 dogs that were always barking and crying first thing in the morning.
It may be an idea to have instructions on how to get around the complex, including pool pass and gate numbers, how to use the TV, and air-conditioning would also be good. It would have been nice to provide a small starter pack (toilet roll, water, etc), as we didn't get to the apartment until after 11pm and shops were closed.

Super aardig dat vanwege de vroege vlucht eerder in het appartement kon. Vriendelijke communicatie ook met eigenaar.
Goede keuken inventaris.
Zonnig terras uit de wind.
Lekker rustig qua omgeving. (Veel mensen die daar ook wonen/eigendom van anderen)
Genoeg handdoeken (erg fijn!)
Ook ligbed op terras.
Prima bed (master bedroom).
Fijn dat er afwas spullen aanwezig waren en handzeep in badkamer.
Superdino en bussen dichtbij. Makkelijk te vinden.
Strand playa chica ook op loopafstand berg omlaag.
Aan vernieuwing toe: muur in master bedroom. Er vielen stukken af.
Ook oude lekkage plek in badkamer boven toilet. Na regen dropen er druppels op de grond en op mijn schouders toen ik 's nachts naar het toilet moest.
Koelkast aan vernieuwing toe, evenals kastjes fronten. Bladderde af. Badkamer ook wat onprettige geur en oude kastjes.
Buitenmeubilair oud en aan vernieuwing toe.
