Small cosy guesthouse

Cute little guesthouse with only a few rooms. Pet friendly!!! Access to beach within walking distance, good cafes and restaurants nearby. Rooms are clean and comfy with good AC. Access to shared kitchen facilities. We stayed in the sea view balcony room which is a bungalow style up high, the stairs are very steep.

More an FYI for others, no hot water.

Ali is the best Host WE have meet on our road, So WE stay longer to enjoy this incredible surf Camp. Also if you want to practice your surf it's the perfect spot, As a ex pro surfer, Ali will give you a lot of advice, and WE really recommend to Book a lesson with him .

Amazing value for money in a perfect local vibe atmosphere and just 100 meters from a wonderful beach. The structure is brand new and built with some nice touches giving it a very authentic and comfortable mood. Amazing staff, really helpful in every occasion. Special mention to the great Ali (and his entire family and friends), super surfer with great knowledge on every single aspect of surfing. Great guide if you are lucky enough to travel with him on a surf adventure (I did!!!).

Nothing to be honest. But I arrived during the building of a couple of other rooms, so there were workers around (10th of may). No power tools used, everything was built using the most simple yet durable techniques, the worker guys are as friendly and polite as one can be. In my case it was more a curious and pleasant view to witness rather than something bothering me (and I was working on my computer every afternoon).

Superb

Nice small camp with friendly owner Ali. Family like atmosphere, where you easily meet people. Water refill! When there were no waves in Medewi, Ali organised a 2 day surfing trip for us to East Java, which was just beautiful. Considering the very good price, the room was quite comfortable with a lot of storage room.

Ali is building a 4th Bungalow so that can get noisy. No ac but a very old fan.

Amazing stay!

Ali is super lovely and amazing and helped us find whatever we needed. He sorted us out with boards and a scooter. Just a great guy! The homestay was right next to two really good surfing points which was fantastic as well. Super easy to have a surf and then chill out at one of the cafes along the beach front. Would recommend to anyone! ☺️

Authentic Surf Culture

Fantastic spot to stay with rice paddy and ocean views. Definitely stay here if you are looking for a more authentic Balinese experience away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Ali and his family are so welcoming, with Ali being more than happy to share his surf knowledge and surfing with his guests (btw, he absolutely rips on a board). This was the best place I stayed in Bali, with what was originally planned as a short stay turing into a week long stay, and I would of happily stayed longer. The longer you stay the better the experience will be. West Bali is a hidden gem

Nice quiet family run homestay located walking distance to the beach, shops and places to eat. Ali and his family are very kind and will go out of their way to help you in any way they can. Ali also has great knowledge of the local surf breaks. I originally booked for 1 week and have already booked 2 more. Great place to stay for backpackers or surfers

Ali and his family do there best to make you feel at home and welcome in a safe location. Great WiFi connection. Plus, Only a 15 minute walk to the point or a 5 minute walk to the beach break. If youre a surfer or backpacker after very reasonable price accomodation I would recommend.

I was planning on staying for one night and am still here after 3 days…

Ali was soo nice and accomodating. It was really nice to have a local surfer running the property. He would drive me to the surf in the morning and let me know when the best times were. The property itself was clean and in a beautiful location.

Hidden gem

What a wonderful experience in this cozy and spacious bungalows! Really unique spot, surrounded by corn and rice fields and the ocean is just in front. Really close to the best restaurants and 3 minutes drive to the main point break. Excellent facilities, clean room, comfortable bed, great air circulation. Ali, the owner, and his family made me feel like home and we're always taking care of anything I needed. Ali is also a great surf instructor who can teach you regardless your skill level and can take you to some local surf spots.

Ali fou un increïble amfitrió. El lloc és ideal si vols eixir del Bali ple de turistes i soroll. L'habitació estava bé per a dues persones i teníem espai per treballar entre altres. Tindre cuina fou un gran avantatge

Vam estar dues setmanes a l'allotjament i en cap moment van netejar l'habitació. Vam trobar a faltar un manteniment més continu de les instal·lacions tant comuns com de la nostra habitació

Nie wieder

Wir hatten Mäuse in unserem Zimmer, daraufhin wurde das Zimmer gereinigt. Aber am nächsten Abend waren die Mäuse immer noch da. Wir entschlossen uns das Hotel früher zu verlassen. Der Gastgeber wurde sehr unfreundlich, er wollte uns das Geld nicht zurückerstatten. Wir versuchten es über Booking.com, doch hier hat der Gastgeber auf Booking nicht reagiert und ignoriert, weshalb wir unser Geld auch nicht wieder gesehen haben. Als wir abgereist sind wurden wir außerdem noch beschuldigt etwas kaputt gemacht haben. Sobald etwas schief geht wird der Gastgeber unausstehlich.
