It’s a real chalet, with heating, dishwasher…all very eco aware. Kobarid historical trail goes just around the camp. Right on Soca’s bank, in the wood, still 5 min on foot from Kobarid. We really had great time!!

Our stay here was perfect. The camp, property and nature around it is wonderful. Special thanks to Laris the receptionist who welcomed us very kindly and gave us lots of information about the area and the activities. We recommend and we will come again.

I stayed for 2 nights in February. The camp was quiet with the reception desk open from 2 - 11pm. The lady at the reception was really nice and explained the layout of the camp with a map that she gave me when I collected the keys for a eco chalet. Its super conveniently located just behind the main camp buildings (restaurant/bar, reception, shower and main camp toilets/showers). The location of the camp itself is 15/20 minute walk from Kobarid itself, 5 from Napoleons bridge and actually sits right next to the Kojak Waterfall/Kobarid Historical trail path.
The Eco Chalet was super clean, with fridge, oven, and hot plate with cutlery and crockery. The bathroom is modern in style and comprises of everything one would expect. There is also plenty of spare bedding available if needed. Heating also works well. I didn't use any of the camps services besides the self service washing machine which whilst was old did an excellent job! (5 Euro Wash, 4 Euro dry). Being the low season whilst I could see areas for outdoor activities i.e. kayaking/rafting many of these were closed for the winter. There is also a cool little animal farm there with goats and ducks to look at as well with 2 small children's play areas.
There was only 1 washing machine and 1 drier so during the peak season I could see this being a problem and was slightly expensive, albeit not massively so. No bug bare for me on this next point, but will be for some is that being in the country do expect to find bugs about. For example in the eco chalet once I turned the heating on I found a few docile brown marmorated stink bugs appearing!
