Beautiful wooden chalet in perfect location

Chalet is big and comfy, kitchen is well equipped, bathroom is clean, rooms are spacious. Nicely decorated in alpine style. There is a terrace in front of chalet and a balcony on the 1st floor. Located within a campsite, but on upper terrain. Camp has pigmy goats, ducks and chickens on site. Located between Soča river and Kozjak waterfall, the camp is a perfect starting point for numerous hiking and cycling tours in Kobarid region. Fabulous Planika dairy farm has a supermarket 10 min walking distance from the campsite. Camp has a spa (sauna, salt room, gym). We booked sauna and it was perfect. The only downside of our visit is that we couldn't stay longer.

Onsite shop was very minimal on stock. Onsite restaurant had limited hours & when closed it was an up hill 10 min walk to the central restaurants

Rustic fun!

We enjoyed a very cozy glamping cabin. It was quiet and secluded. We were also able to enjoy a nice breakfast on property.

Camping but make it comfortable!

Cute little cabin on the riverbank. Romantic stay: spotless, crisp white sheets, clean bathroom, and all of it in the forest - amazing smells, birds, and stars! The little private yard where we sat and drank some wine at night and herbal tea (welcome gift) from a cute teapot in the morning. Great location - we did a hike to the waterfall nearby.

We didn't expect the cabin to be right in the middle of the camp. The tents and trailers were right behind the cabin's fence, which felt a bit weird. I expected a more remote and private feeling. It was even a bit challenging to park a car because it was so tight with the tents and trailers. Also, I think the room seems bigger in pictures - in reality it's tiny, but has a smart layout.

Lovely campsite, helpful staff, great value for money.

Beautiful campsite. Bathrooms right next to our glamping hut, which also had a private parking space. Hut was very comfortable with electricity, lots of lights and sockets, its own seating area. Quite private! The sauna was great on a rainy day. Kobarid and the Soca valley is a great area with lots to do. Historical trail goes past the campsite but one bridge is currently being renovated - walk up to the waterfall and back well worth it though, and you can see some trenches on the way.

Kettle in the hut would be nice.

We took the glamping option, which is a unique experience. Clean, good location near to Kobarid

No wifi in the Bivac glamping, no mosquito windows, quite expensive for what you get in return compared to other places in Slovenia

Real glamping

The glamping hut had a huge and super comfortable mattress (great for cuddling), huge window into nature, private porch, small but sparkling clean bathroom with private shower (not all units have it), small fridge, and a foldable table. The flower on the table and welcome tea were super nice touches; real glamping. We were able to book a private session at the sauna at 10pm which was fabulous. The camp ground is in a forest next to the river; you couldn't feel more in nature.

The glamping hut is rather small, so the space isn't comparable to a hotel room. The folding table was cleverly built but apparently not exactly to specification; as a result, we couldn't fold it up into the space where it was supposed to go.

Superb

Well, on arriving there was a misunderstanding and we got a small cabin that wasn't at all what we accepted not to mention that it wasn't ready, but once we complained at the reservation, everything was arranged and we were transferred to a lovely cabin placed deep in the forest with shower and toilet inside. Very romantic. in our two days stay at the camp, we ordered breakfasts there which were very nice and suitable for its price. The staff were nice and we could do there our laundry as well (again, for a low cost) and finally, the location is perfect and very close to the highlights offered in the Suca valley.

Don't accept (take) the small cabin with no shower... too spartan!

Very good

The Soča River was gorgeous. The location is very near Kobarid, which was convenient. The bed was comfortable, and the environment was quiet and peaceful. The sauna on-site was wonderful and reasonably priced. The coffee at the cafe was great.

I would haved liked more breakfast options than a few pastries. However, I understand most of their guests are campers who self-serve cook, so it makes sense that they don't provide breakfast. My biggest disappointment was that the glamping cabins are located up the cliff. The tent and RV campers are closer to the Soča River than the cabins are. Considering the price, it would have been nice to see/hear the water from our room or patio. My only other complaint would be the very small size of the cabin and its layout. With the large table down, it was very difficult to move around the room or open the door. They did cleverly design it so that the table could be easily raised up against the wall, which we did most of the time, but it would have been even handier if the table could also fold in half, so we could use a portion of it without it filling up the whole room.

Peacefull and amazing

It was amazing, the people working here are so kind. The cabins with own bathrooms are so luxurious and waking up with the sound of birds is amazing. We were watching all the small birds right from our beds. Sunsets on the porch. Walking trails along the Soca and to the waterfall are amazing. From the cabin to the waterfall takes only about 25 minutes.

Lovely stay in a beautiful nature surrounding

Lovely campsite, you can bring your tent, campervan or rent one of the 'glamping huts'. They are situated in a septated area and are equipped with a very comfy bed, bathroom (shower,sink, toilet), a table, two chairs, a fridge and a kettle. Very comfy overall and amazing view into the woods. Be aware that there is just a very thin door to the bathroom, so you gotta like the people you're traveling with :D there's also more toilets and shower in a hut nearby. Overall we had a great experience! The staff was so lovely and when I forgot something in our hut, they went out of their way to make sure I got it before returning home. (it was brought to our next destination, which was more than 2 hours away!) Thanks again!!

Lovely location

Stunning location. A roomy chalet with a nicely redecorated bathroom.

The chalet was absolutely freezing and there was no way to turn the heat on. We visited Kobarid in late September so possibly they hadn't turned the central heating system on just yet.

Extremaly rainy but cozy

The big window from the glamping hut is amazing. You feel like you were in the trees and you go to sleep and wake up with this beautiful view. Great experience. Facilities are new and clean. Small fridge and kettle are always a good idea when there’s no space for the kitchen.

Four person hut should be definitely only for two people because it’s extremaly small and even we (couple) were struggling to fit in there with our stuff (especially when it’s raining cats and dogs outside). Also, Kamp Koren wasn’t „elastic” about cancelling our stay, due to very bad (could be even dangerous) weather conditions (thunderstorm, flooded roads and bridge) which happened during our stay in Slovenia.
