Lovely place but needs some fixing

Francisco was excellent in his communications. He is the main reason the rating is so high. He always answers you and tries his best to accommodate you. Really appreciate that. The property is private and stands alone which gives you lots privacy. The views are amazing on both levels of the house. The kitchen is small but modern and has everything you need. They provide 2 fans which is great to cool the house when you first enter. Otherwise, you don't need it because the house is shaded. Location is fantastic. Walk up the driveway and everything is within walking distance. All the stores are right there from supermarket, restaurants and souvenir shops. A few feet upwards, the cable cars to First Grindelwald is there. A few feet downwards is the train station.

It states 4 bedrooms but it is 4 beds, two of them being a bunk bed. It states 2 bathrooms but it is 1.5 bathrooms because the showerhead in one of the bathrooms is broken so you can shower there and even if it worked, there wouldn't be enough room to stand. The creaky stairs need a banister. A wire or glass banister is needed because if you slip, there is nothing to help you. Matching bed sheets and towels would be nice especially in this price range.

Location . View, clean rooms , relaxing quite environment well fully equipped kitchen, welcoming drink, regestered transport card for all of us . This card was so helpfull for discounts We were 5 adults . Warm house , outside temperatures was 9 - 10 Celsius . washing machin , iron are avilable , no bugs , availble disc to fit against ants , availble net flex TV programs , two private car parkings easy check in and out

Billows are not comfortable, old towels and bed sheets , curtains in rooms are transparent to light and no insulator under the curtains . stairs inside the house is risky easy to slipper or to fall down , not suitable for children

Superb

Excellent location, large chalet and very nice view.

Not kids friendly. Lots of expensive stuff in the chalet, we have to be very alert with kids, stair without barrier

Exceptional

The chalet was a was a perfect blend of old meets new. A fully equipped chalet with a perfect location close to the train station, grocery store, Grindelwald first and last but not the least with a breath taking view of the mountain. A big shoutout to Francisco, who was so so helpful and warm and always available to answer our queries and the tips he gave were so helpful. His tips helped us have a better and a more smoother time in Grindelwald.

Only drawback is there are few steps leading to the chalet so transferring the luggage can be a bit tricky.
