It was disappointing and sad. They have a big issue with cleanliness.

I booked this property from 16 September to 2 October, but I left on 20 September due to unacceptable conditions. 1. Cleanliness: • The bathroom and kitchen were dirty upon arrival. • Spiders were all over the walls, which made the stay very uncomfortable. 2. Noise: • There was constant noise around the property, making it very difficult for my children to sleep. 3. Safety: • One day, I returned to find the door open. The locking mechanism was faulty, and I never received clear instructions on how to secure it properly. • I reported this issue through Booking.com since the property management was unavailable. Someone was sent the next day, but by then I no longer felt safe staying there. 4. Management & Communication: • The property management failed to respond promptly. • They only replied by email after Booking.com escalated the issue. No one called to check on the situation or offer support. • Their email response was dismissive, stating: “we do not see any evidence of issues with the lock and therefore will not be amending the reservation.” • They did not acknowledge my concerns and processed the checkout immediately without offering any form of compensation or refund. 5. Comparison with Other Properties: I have previously stayed in two short-term rental properties, and both were phenomenal — unlike this experience with Pureserviced property, which was extremely disappointing. Positive Aspect: The only redeeming feature is that the surrounding area offers a good space for children to play. Final Recommendation: I do not recommend staying at this property due to poor conditions, lack of security, and unresponsive management.

**AVOID AVOID AVOID** This property was not as advertised!! Upon arrival, it was immediately clear that the property had not been properly cleaned or maintained. Specifically, I encountered the following issues: A horrendous smell of the entire top floor, the sofa was ripped and filthy to the point we had to cover it to even sit on them, the kitchen hob was disgusting and beyond use!! there was liquid splattered up the banister, the carpets were dirty with a number of pieces of chewing gum stuck to it, the bottom few steps of the top flight of stairs are on the verge of falling through, the bathrooms were DISGUSTING, they were mouldy and had not been cleaned properly and there was a damp smell to the bottom floor bathroom. We used the property purely as a base to sleep, we could not use the kitchen facilities for cooking which cost us extra in having the eat out! If I have not been 7 hours from home as a family of 7 on the busiest week in Plymouth I would of found alternative accommodation but this was not possible! I had plenty more photos of the house that did not meet the advertisement but you could only add 4!!

Location was amazing, bath towels were enormous which was lovely. there were 2 en suites which was great.

There was a door code to get in which wasn't working. No one picked up the phone when I called around 4 times and left messages. We were so lucky that someone drove past who knew the owner and very kindly stopped and called him directly for us and sorted out the issue quickly. All we wanted to do after a long 4 hour drive from Guildford was get in and start relaxing, not stand around outside hoping that they hadn't all gone home early on a friday afternoon and that we wouldn't be able to get in all weekend. The kitchen was very poorly equipped. We had to use a bath mat as oven gloves. The microwave wasn't working (nothing got hot on any setting) the curtain pole fell down in the main bedroom and the dishwasher didn't drain so it stank.

Wonderful apartment

The location was excellent, and the beds were very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean.

On collection of the keys there was knowone at the reception, after calling 3 or 4 times one of your ladies called me back explaining that she was in another building and would be 10 minutes. 30 minutes later I called her back and she told me the same thing 'she was waiting for customers to arrive' Finally after making us wait for 40 mins she arrived and we got the key. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful but clearly spread too thin in her duties. Not a good start.

great location for our stay. clean and comfortable. there were some youngsters living/staying next door or near by that you could hear very late at night outside the window smoking and talking, nothing horrific but it was right outside when we’re trying to sleep. went to cook breakfast and not many big serving bowls and only I cooking utensil. apart from that . it suited our requirements perfectly.

Apartment is clean and beautiful. Location is very near The Hoe.

It is a distance from the apartment . They should just leave the key at the door with a code to unlock to make it much easier. Also the deposit of 100 pounds was quite unreasonable. Should give free parking instead of charging 10 pounds for it.

We were asked to pay extra for the parking space that’s outside of the property. I didn’t see this advertised and wasn’t made aware until we checked in to collect the keys. This should be included in the price. We expected to be met at the property for a key handover, but this didn’t happen. We left 4 voicemails with the office and was eventually told that we had to collect keys from the office, which to be fair wasn’t far, but it would have helped if we knew this prior to arrival.
