Cosy stay, great hosts.

The place was as described in the booking advert. Very cosy set up, although we didn’t use the back garden it was also a lovely feature. The hosts were lovely and had great communication throughout which was really helpful, and they were quick to respond. The facilities were good, everything was easy to use and it was located near good shops.

Some furnishings in the house were a little bit difficult, the living room door was very difficult to close across the carpet. Other than that most everything was fine.

Disappointing stay. Rats in the garden.

Good location where you could see a field/green from the kitchen window. Shower gel/shampoo provided. Downstairs loo as well as a main bathroom was handy.

Where to begin....extremely basic utensils in the kitchen, which is outdated, and the photos on this listing are most likely 15 years old. Misleading is an understatement. Scratches on the kitchen surfaces, kettle/toaster look like they have been around since the 1960s. There is a plug with 'faulty' written above the socket in the kitchen. All of the cutlery/plates, etc, are the cheapest of the cheap. Sofa in the living room is uncomfortable, and there are so many broken things such as towel rails (in bathrooms) hanging off the wall. One toilet lid is broken. One previous review mentioned the broken towel rails, and the property replied saying they have already fixed this issue - a blatant lie as they are still broken. Not the cleanest of properties. Rats in the garden. See my photos below. I contacted the property about this, and they have refused to give any kind of compensation. The TV is useless, and the only way of watching it (if you can get it to work) is via streaming services (which was temperamental due to the connection). We gave up. Bed mattresses are hard (perhaps some people like firmer beds, though) and seem small. You can also hear every little noise from the neighbours from both sides (such as them going up/down the stairs). Do not stay here, the photos used shouldn't be allowed. I have uploaded my photos (have many more I could have shared but that was the maximum number I could put up).

The towel and toilet roll holders ate hanging off , needs a few more things in kitchen like small knives for vegetables etc

All in all we enjoyed the house and area. If it had been cleaner we would rent again.

Nice area. Near city centre. Outside was good with the playground and fields. Cosy litle house.

We had to start our holiday doing the dishes. Overloaded garbage bins. No hoover or cleaning equipment availible. Kids couldent play in the garden with all the nettle. Remote control needed new batteries and we couldent work out tv channels. Sink in toilet downstairs was leaking out on the floor. When we took out the coach for one to sleep on it was full of durt inside and behind the coach. It didnt look like the pictures and needed to be cleaned a lot more! Should also been more glass, cups, plates and pans etc.

Good central location, view of large park.

No mid-week cleaning service (we were staying 10 days), no access to cleaning equipment to do our own vacuuming. The garbage bin was over-full when we arrived, so we could not dispose of our own garbage. There was no collection of the rubbish during our stay.
