Fantastic!

Outstanding villa. Charming 2 bedroom vacation home with an outdoor patio overlooking the sea and dramatic cliffscapes of the Palaiokastritsa region of Corfu. The property was well maintained, with updated/modern fixtures/appliances/amenities. The home is well-stocked with all the essentials, including an automatic coffee/espresso machine which made early mornings a breeze. The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well, so I was able to sleep comfortably despite the summer heat. Importantly, they also provide a parking spot in their car port, which is a huge bonus, keeping my rental car off the narrow streets of Lakones and ensuring that I didn't get any scratches. I was only there for three nights, but would have been happy staying all week. I would definitely return.

The only downside (nothing to do with the house!) is that the village of Lakones is built into the cliffside above Palaiokastrita and the main tourist drag. While this affords a more authentic, idyllic, and peaceful experience, it was admittedly difficult to get to get to town/the main attractions on foot. While there is a "donkey trail" down the side of the mountain that takes about 30-40 minutes, it is steep and there are some dodgy spots, and it might not be suitable for all travelers. Walking on the main road, which zig-zags up the cliffside, takes about an hour each way. You absolutely need a rental car to stay in this area.

Exceptional

We had a wonderful experience ar Villa Markezinis. The rooms are spacious, beautiful and clean(they were cleaning every 2/3 days, changing the towels and sheets). Also, the beds were really comfortable. The amenities were great. We had everything we needed , the house is very nice equipped. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and always available. Even if the property is located on the hill, in a small charming village, there were great restaurants within walking distance. And we had an amazing view to the sea. I highly recommend this villa for anyone visiting Corfu, Palaiokastritsa

Ładne przestronne mieszkanie z wieloma uzgodnieniami. Pięknie widoki z okna..W domu dostęp do TV Netflix a Prime itd... dobry internet, można popracować. Za rogiem lokalny sklep oferujący śniadania kawę i pyszne ciasta. W samym Lakones chyba ze 4 restauracje. Generlanie miejscowość bardzo lokalna i żyjąca lokalnym rytmem ( nie wiem jak jest w sezonie, byliśmy pod koniec września)

Trochę daleko do plaży ale wiedzieliśmy to od początku. Jedna z łóżek w sypialni dość głośne ;)

Es ist eine traumhafte Unterkunft mit einer super netten Besitzerin! Immer erreichbar alles war top und super sauber. Es ist alles neu und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Lage ist wunderschön.

Insgesamt waren wir vom Aufenthalt enttäuscht, da Gastfreundschaft und Hausqualität ungenügend.

Die Fluggesellschaft konnte aufgrund eines Tornados nicht landen und musste uns an den Ausgangsflughafen zurückfliegen und so konnten wir erst einen Tag später anreisen. Leider reagierte die Gastgeberin in dieser Situation sehr sehr unfreundlich und vorwurfsvoll per WhatsApp und auch am Telefon, anstatt Verständnis zu zeigen. Ein persönliches Gespräch war kaum möglich, da sie nicht zuhören wollte und sich danach nur noch distanziert und unfreundlich schriftlich meldete. Zum Glück hat uns ihre Mutter empfangen. Eine sehr herzliche Dame, die sich mehrmals für das Verhalten ihrer Tochter entschuldigt hat.

WLAN-Passwort nur schwer lesbar (man musste es vom Router abfotografieren und vergrössern). Kaffeemaschine funktionierte nicht. Beim einem Stromausfall gab es zwar den Hinweis, keine Kerzen zu nutzen, aber keine funktionierende Alternative (keine Batterien für Lampen). Viele Tausendfüssler im Haus. Mussten diese jeden Tag wegbringen. Bettqualität sehr schlecht (extrem lautes Knarren, muffiges zweites Zimmer). Kein Wasser im Kühlschrank, keine kleine Aufmerksamkeit oder Willkommensgeste zu Beginn.

Séjour paisible sur les hauteurs de Paleokastritsa dans une demeure charmante

Demeure très spacieuse pour 4, aménagée avec beaucoup de goût, très bien équipée, de qualité! Une vue magnifique depuis la terrasse. Hôte très facilement joignable. La localisation, si elle nécessite une autonomie en voiture (parking privé sous la maison), permet en revanche d’être au calme dans une ambiance plus typique mais malgré tout à proximité de la station de Paleokastritsa (route à lacets en voiture avec circulation alternée dans la route qui traverse le village ).

La situation est magnifique avec vue sur le golfe de Paleokastritsa. L'hébergement est exceptionnel tant au niveau des équipements qu'à la qualité du service ( ménage tous les trois jours avec renouvellement du linge). On peut féliciter Natasa pour la qualité de sa prestation.
