This is hard to beat!

It’s not often that we say, “Wow!”, but this time we did, and we were sorry that we were not staying longer. This is a spacious, very well appointed ground-floor apartment. The bed and chairs were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. There are plenty power sockets where you need them and a good wifi connection. There is a laundry room with washer, drier and places to hang clothes. Parking for the car was easy and convenient to the entrance to the apartment. We got a very friendly welcome from Karen and her husband, a helpful information folder and a welcome bottle of bubbly.

The comfort of the apartment and bed, the spacious and coziness of the rooms,, the attention to detail Everything to make our 4 days in Skye-the absolute best of experiences! CHARMING

I loved everything. The house was super clean and tidy. Every little detail was carefully thought out, which made the apartment feel truly welcoming and well cared for. Karen welcomed us and gave us the keys earlier than the check in time, allowing us to respect the organization for the day. We were sad to leave the apartment after only two days because it was absolutely charming — we would have loved to spend the whole week there. A dream!

Just a note on the shower, we had a small difficulty on choosing the water temperature: it was always too hot or too cold. I think that it is something that can be solved easily and quickly.

Very enjoyable

The property was clean very spacious easy to find, just over an hour from the Skye bridge on the road from Portree to Dunvegan. Good to see there was coffee, tea, salt and pepper left as was a bottle of Prosecco. There were 2 restaurants within about 200 metres from the property, best to book them. The kitchen facilities were great and we ate in a couple of nights. Parking was onsite. Hosts were very helpful and easily contactable. Would certainly recommend this property.

Stunning accommodation on Skye

The apartment we stayed in was lovely, beautiful decor and coy and comfortable. Well positioned on Skye for exploring. Situated in a small town with the convenience of an excellent restaurant and the local tavern within walking distance if you don’t want to use the well appointed kitchen. Both serve very good meals! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Blissful base to enjoy your stay on Skye.

Beautiful apartment: wonderfully appointed and having everything you could need to be comfortable. A real home from home! The hosts are very welcoming and seem to have thought of everything. The beds are extremely comfortable. The location is great too, near enough to Portree and the sights of Skye. These is a great inn very close so you don’t have to drive to it, and a gourmet restaurant as well.

The only tiny thing I’d change is to add a footstool for the sofa. Otherwise it’s perfect.

The apartment is easy to find, with parking just outside it. It is extremely spacious for a couple, with high end decoration and furnishing. The shower was very efficient and it was useful to have two separate toilets, and a washing machine and tumble dryer. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well.

We felt that the TV in the lounge area was placed a bit too high for comfortable viewing - our necks suffered a bit. Fortunately we were able to use the TV in the bedroom so it didn’t become an issue.

Home from home.

This home from home accommodation exceeded our expectations. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and had thought of everything to make this stay memorable. The accommodation is in a small village with two highly praised restaurants just a stone's throw from the garden wall. I would state though that should you prefer to self cater the large kitchen offers all facilities you need to rustle up your own meals. If you prefer to BBQ then you can do that too on the private outdoor patio. There is also the huge benefit of a fully equipped utility room so should you decide to launder your clothing you can. The utility also had an additional bonus: another loo! Great shower and water pressure, private parking immediately outside of entrance. The property is very roomy and the web site photographs really do not do justice to this accommodation. You will see from my photo of the private patio area that there is a sign regarding the dog....this is to ensure that lovely friendly Labrador 'Ted' does not escape from the owners garden....you are free to use the garden area to relax in but just ensure that the cord is in place when you go through your gate. I enjoyed the position of this property as it was very well located for day trips out. The owners have taken great measure and personal detail to ensure a pleasurable stay and it shows. My Husband and I benefited from the hard work of this lovely couple and we were very impressed by the personal and ongoing conversion of the property which was the old hospital on the Isle of Skye. If you are considering booking on the Isle of Skye I would definitely encourage staying here.

Spacious, modern, comfortable, warm, lots of parking, private, quiet, and great kitchen, bathrooms and laundry facilities. The bed was very comfortable. It was lovely being able to walk around the acres of private woodland, listen to the birds, and look out onto the green trees. The inn was only a couple of minutes' walk for drinks and dining. Handy, central location for driving to the Neist Point lighthouse, Queraing, Old Man of Storr, and Portree. Phil and Karen were great hosts.

The property was in a attractive location in the village, with grass, trees and shrubs at the back and a patio which was a pleasant place to relax. High-end cottage recently renovated. Perfect location!

Photos don't do it justice. It has the perfect location to visit all of Isle of Skye. It has everything you may need for your stay, a complete kitchen, toiletries, parking, and very reliable internet. It is very comfortable and cosy, the best bed I've ever slept in a while. It has just been renovated, is very high-end, and comfortable and everything works perfectly.

Heel comfortabel huis. Met 2 aparte slaapkamers met allebei een eigen badkamer met WC, een uitgebreide keuken en fijne open woonkamer. Ligging om Skye te ontdekken is prima. Eigenares reageert snel.
