Amazing place to stay....

The bungalow had the most amazing views. Margaret provides everything you need, including detergents for the washer/dryer, dishwasher, cutlery, roasting tins, coffee etc. The fridge has a small ice box. It was spotlessly clean and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, handy for sightseeing north to Lewis and all of Harris. Very well equipped, and a beautiful welcome bunch of flowers as well as a little heating on a chilly wet day when we arrived.

Superb property in a peaceful area but close to wonderful beaches

Superb property , spotlessly clean . Amazing views from the living room , we never got tired of looking out over the sea. Very close to some wonderful beaches . The couple who owned the property take great care of it and live attached to the property too so if there’s any problem they are to hand . Fresh flowers on the table . Overall in a peaceful area and very relaxing stay . The photos attached are taken from the living room window

Perfect place in a stunning location

Perfectly located with beautiful views, cosy and homely with all the amenities you could need and more, very well stocked kitchen, lovely comfy bed and sofas. Only 5 mins drive from Tarbert. Margaret and Alec-John are lovely friendly hosts.

The most amazing place to stay, just do it!

The personal welcome from Margret was really nice she welcomed us to her beautiful rental and showed us around. The location was amazing, the view and peaceful location was out of this world. It was well equipped and had everything you could possibly need in a self catering property. I liked everything I cannot possibly list everything.

There was nothing I didn’t like. I was sad to leave, I didn’t like that.

Warm, cosy and with a sea view

Cosy cottage that was ready for our arrival from the late ferry. Warm welcome from host. Fresh flowers on a table that had a lovely scent. The cleanest place we have ever stayed. We had a bit of an issue with our car and the host helped us to fix it, thank you. This was our second time at this cottage and we would not hesitate to come back in the future.

An immaculate cottage in a fantastic location for exploring to the north and south of this beautiful island chain. Welcoming and helpful hosts have equipped the house with everything you could need to make your stay perfect. Convenient for the ferry from Skye, and with a stunning view from the living room window. Thoroughly recommended 🙂

It is only a personal preference but I found the mattress very firm. This was remedied by using extra bedding as a cushioning layer.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. It was so comfortable and warm even when there was a gale blowing outside. It was exceptionally well equipped, including strong WiFi and satellite tv. The views from Riverside were lovely with a visiting redwing amongst the birds in the garden. The location is ideal if you want to see both Harris and Lewis. Margaret and Alex John could not have been more thoughtful.

Great location for exploring the Isle of Harris. The property was more than what I expected. More available facilities than in the listing. It was very clean and the owner was very helpful

Best break away I've had!!

The cottage was located in the nicest part of the island- both Harris and Lewis! It was a peaceful, relaxing break away the cottage was immaculate. It took us 14 hours from leaving home to get there by car, but it was definitely worth it and we'd definitely book again!

Only thing we would have changed slightly was the mattress - was very firm (although this was our personal preference -so nothing against the accommodation)!

Super self catering apartment

The location is brilliant, you can see all the coast and amazing scenery from the bay window of the living room and have food at the front of the property on a sunny day. The property is very cleaned and well equipped with everything needed for self catering. I would definitely stay in this place again and I ever come back to the Western Islands. 8 mins drive to the Ferry Terminal and 15 mins drive to the amazing Luskentyre beach.
