B&B Romy

We arrived late, around 00:30, and the owner sent one of his collaborators after the check-in time, who was really helpful.

The room is large and comfortable but could have a few more amenities.

The lower price than others made us choose this b&b. We read the reviews and were afraid that something was wrong but I was really satisfied. There is a problem with the Wi-Fi in the area. They warned us that the problem was not caused by them.

location, bed ok, space ok. security ok, just note with the three keys, the first door into the building is ok, but the second (big) key into the b&b require fully clockwise turns, hold the last turn AND simultaneously push the door!

Reading the other reviews AFTER i checked in, I can see where they are all coming from, main two things being photos are far from accurate, and guy who comes to let you in was late, tired, and overworked, all by half midday! The showerhead was broken, but i was just about able to use it, as well as just using it as a hose, and they wont always restock toilet roll, so be aware. faucet didnt have a cap so it sprays everywhere. i at least got the private bathroom i booked, those that didnt, i could see their shared bathroom, i was in room 203 so if that is important to you, request it, though the guy on the whatsapp (cristian) was very hit and miss, and does things remotely, lets others do his work. I sleep in my own bag ON the bed, but the bed and room seemed generally clean, the place and building as a whole is all old and undecorated, and pipes will drip in the staircases. this place is not disabled friendly, the tiny elevator is still two staircases up. i was on my own for a couple of days so it was fine for me, and i am adaptable. if you are a couple/family, doing 3 days + AND need it all comfortable, AVOID. The biggest gripe was the first night the power kept cutting out every 10 minutes, and someone will need to reset the switch opposite room 201 each time, i dont know how they fixed it permanently, but if you did end up booking and are searching comments for an answer, there it is! The AC is also tempremental! These guys do not provide any type of breakfast despite calling themselves a b&b. Though finally, things like 'pollution' and bad smells of the area are NOT this places fault, the room did smell a bit, but the stronger smells are outside, so if that is an issue, there are other villages around I also stayed in that are much better than Napoli Cen.
