About this apartment rental
Brand new apartment above a garage! Less than ten minutes from MTJ airport, five minutes from Montrose, yet out in the country. Quiet neighborhood, and easy to get to.
Walk into this space and feel the mountain theme greet you as you relax from your adventures of the day. The perfect base camp for hiking in the San Juans, fishing the Gunnison River, visiting the Black Canyon, or just visiting friends, our apartment offers the fastest Wi-Fi around (Elevate Fiber), your own entrance and parking spot, with kitchenette and full bathroom. Cooking options include a hot plate, microwave, and Instant Pot with air fryer functions.
Sink into the queen sized bed and enjoy the comfort it provides. We know a comfortable bed is important, and we love our personal mattress so we bought one just like it for this space. There is also a queen sized sofa bed that has a 5" memory foam mattress, and as sofa beds go, it's quite comfortable!
This apartment was just built in 2020, and is a "bonus room" above our personal garage. You will have your own entry and parking spot. There are stairs to access the apartment.
There is a big window with nice views out the one end of the apartment. You will also have your own thermostat with heat and A/C available.
Landscaping has recently been completed and is beautiful.
Baby accessories are available if requested. (PackNPlay, stair gate, etc)

Location: We are located several miles west of Montrose, right off Spring Creek Rd. in a small subdivision with three houses. Our house is the tall, grey stucco house in the middle.
Easy access to:
MTJ - 8 min; GJT 1hr 15 min; Ridgway 35 min; Ouray 45 min; Telluride 1 hr. 30 min.
Laundromat and car wash are 5 minutes away, Montrose Hospital is 10 minutes away, Cobble Creek golf course is 5 minutes away.
There is a fire pit in the backyard, a garden area to walk through, and a professional level sand volleyball court, all available for use with prior permission. We do use these ourselves, but if we aren't using them we're happy to share them with you!

The Attic was a lovely place to stay. Very clean and had everything you needed. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive with communication. Definitely recommend!

We had such a good stay there. The room is very comfortable and clean. This is a nice quiet spot. The only sound we heard was the trickling of the water in the near by creek (which was awesome). The hosts were very polite and helpful. Can’t wait to come back next summer?

I’m so glad I booked here!! As a solo traveler I felt extremely safe and loved my stay. I worked and hiked- the NP is 30 minutes away. Montrose is a great jumping off point- lots of beautiful places 60-90 minute drive. Highly recommend!!
