The Space:
Located in the heart of Destin, FL is SunDestin Beach Resort. This large property boasts many amenities, including an outdoor pool, where you can take a break from the sand. Take a dip in the outdoor hot tub to relax or sit in the sauna for a while. Get a quick workout in the fitness center. A few of the seasonal amenities include a tiki bar, and beach chairs and umbrellas that can be rented for an additional fee.
SunDestin 1812 is a completely updated two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo with sleeping for seven guests. When you walk in, you’ll see the guest bedroom with a queen bed and twin bed, plus a full bath. Walk into the common area and find a spacious kitchen, living and dining room. The kitchen is updated and is fully equipped with everything you need to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The dining room table seats six and the living area has a sleeper sofa and a large TV and DVD player so you can take advantage of the complimentary rentals that come with your stay. Walk through the sliding door to find sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico. The master bedroom can also be accessed from the balcony and offers a king bed. The ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower and a large vanity. This spacious two-bedroom corner rental has great views of the Gulf from almost every room.
Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.
Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.
Just minutes from SunDestin is the Destin Harbor, where there’s plenty of ways to enjoy the best part of the Emerald Coast - the gorgeous waters. Grab a few waverunner rentals or a larger pontoon boat to take to Crab Island for the day. End your day at Harborwalk Village, or head across the street for dinner at McGuire’s Destin. ***Please note: As part of an exciting resort enhancement project, some amenities at SunDestin Beach Resort remain under construction, including the restaurant, outdoor pools, steam room, and spa. Please note that the splash pad is currently not operable and will remain closed until further notice while ownership determines future plans for the area. The fitness center remains open for guest use during this time.
Guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. Please also note that there is currently a temporary detour in place for lobby access as enhancement work continues in select areas of the resort.
While construction activity is still present on-site, it is now far less invasive than it has been previously as the project enters its final stages and crews continue winding down operations. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations while setting clear expectations in advance to help ensure a comfortable and positive stay during this improvement phase.

We were in the top floor corner unit and it was beautiful! There is construction going on but it was on the other side and didn’t bother us a bit. Also we were pretty bummed that the outdoor pool was scheduled to be closed until the end of July but to our surprise they opened it on our third day there! The only complaint I have is there is no washer and dryer in the unit but they do have coin laundry on the floors.

We had the best time! The view was stunning, unit was clean and had lots of space for the 4 of us. I cannot wait to come back!

We have stayed at Sun Destin three times, and we have LOVED the guest services. In fact so much so that I have been hesitant to write this review. I appreciate Candy, Kyle, and Leya more than they could know.
Unfortunately, this property was sorely lacking in quality and comfort. The carpet is beyond gross with visible moldy sections by the sliding glass doors. Our entire family left with horrible allergies after 5 days in the property.
The majority of the furniture is uncomfortable at best. Beyond the moldy carpet, the property was not clean. Lastly, the kitchen was supplied with the bare minimum of essentials for a condo.
A much needed update is required for this property.
