The property was overall very comfortable, in a lovely quiet location with a great enclosed garden for the dogs. The cottage itself was well appointed with everything needed for a short stay. Loved the bathroom!
The owners lack of attention to health and safety. My partner suffered a rather nasty burn to his hand after the grill pan handle broke while he was using it. On inspection, we realised that it had been previously broken and then glued back together again. We did tell the owner about this and he admitted that it had broken a couple of times and that he'd tried to get a replacement but couldn't so just repaired it. Honestly, who glues a handle back together that is going to take weight under heat stress?! Just get a new grill pan!! It was really dangerous and caused an injury.
