    Really friendly, welcoming staff. The family room had plenty room with lots of extras including a fan, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was spot on and plentiful. Great offer on spirits for a drink at the bar in the evening! Also handy location with town on the doorstep, countryside walks and other lovely villages nearby.

    Well, I brought my two humans with me, and they seemed to have a lovely time… but let’s be honest, the best bit was my very own breakfast sausage! 🌭🐶 This place is 100% dog friendly, and it was great meeting other dogs who had brought their humans too. The room was cosy, the location was perfect, and best of all there were lots of lovely walks without any horrible long car trips! I’ll definitely be bringing my humans back again. Love, licks and wagging tails! Reggie 🐾

    We booked this hotel at the last minute as it was conveniently located on our route, so it seemed like a great option. Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. I had one of the most uncomfortable night's sleep I've ever experienced. The mattress was so thin and unsupportive that it felt like sleeping directly on the bed frame. The pillows were also lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom wasn't as clean as expected either, with both the toilet and sink appearing dirty on arrival. The location was convenient, but the comfort and cleanliness fell well below expectations. I would strongly recommend investing in new mattresses, preferably something thicker than what felt like a 3-inch mattress, as it would make a huge difference to guests' comfort.
