    We especially liked that produce from the garden is used not only in the food but also in the cocktails.

    Ok start with the good. Staff were fantastic. Mostly very accomodating and friendly. One lad serving meals,acted quite aloof but was efficient. Meals were fantastic. Evening meal was one of the best ive had in the last 10 years. Room was spacious had everything I needed. On site parking. Garden was well worth a walk round, especially the kitchen herb garden. After a long stressful drive it hald calming vibes. Unfortunately the negative. The room was just too hot. I felt it the moment i arrived. I opened all the windows and put the two fans on that were left in the room. I kept it that way until just before going to sleep and it was somewhat better. The road noise would have been a disturbance so closed the windows which eliminated the noise and immediately the room went sweltering hot again. The evening wasnt a particularily hot one either,If had of been i dont think i could have stayed in the room at all. I just didnt sleep. A real shame as everything else was close to perfect. I suspect its a common complaint based on the two fans left in the room. On check out I heard another couple complaining for the same reason.

    Very disappointed with the size of the room. View of a roof with the bed under a window so could only get in on one side. One of the smallest rooms we have had for a couple. Saying that we enjoyed the meal on Saturday night which was good quality. There is a lovely garden in the grounds, well worth a look.
