Delightful

The location was very private, quiet, relaxing with beautiful scenery. The paddock had everything we needed. The black bull is just around the corner and serves fantastic food that is reasonably priced Very friendly staff, freindy locals, lovely atmosphere would highly recommend. The wood burning hot tub can take a bit of time to get the temperature up, but it is well worth the wait We didn't see the owner, but there were very clear instructions left for every aspect of the paddock. Would definitely go again and would recommend.

Perfect paddock

The whole experience was incredible. The location was excellent, nice and quiet. Facilities were so organized and had everything to hand. No faffin around. Absolutely 5* cabin. Would definitely be back to test her out in winter

Don’t expect to use the hot tub. Otherwise nice cabin if a little expensive for what it is.

Clean and high standard of accommodation.

Hot tub isn’t fit for purpose. Stoked the burner with wood for 3 hours and never got hot enough to use. Price was therefore too high for a cabin without a usable hot tub, especially as this is why we booked the property.

Two Days at the Paddock

The Paddock is a lovely cottage with amazing views ideal for a quiet, relaxing two day break following the hectic christmas and new year period Haa everything you need and has a lovely pub at end of the road Great base if you wanted to tour the loch lomond Trossachs areas Katie is a great host and only a call text away

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Paddock, and I must say, I absolutely loved my experience. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the property was exceptionally well-maintained and clean. The attention to detail in ensuring a comfortable stay was truly remarkable. One of the highlights of my stay at The Paddock was the stunning views. The property is nestled in a picturesque location, offering breathtaking sights of the surrounding nature. It provided the perfect setting for relaxation and tranquility. Additionally, the privacy offered was exceptional, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the natural beauty around me. I must also commend the host for their exceptional service. They were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any queries or requests made me feel like a valued guest. Furthermore, the convenience of having a shop just an 8-minute drive away was incredibly convenient. It made it easy to stock up on any necessities or indulge in some local treats. Overall, my stay at The Paddock was everything I could have hoped for and more. The cleanliness, stunning views, exceptional host, and convenient location all contributed to a memorable and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend The Paddock to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable retreat.

Being honest.

Loved the veiw thought it was amazing! Absolutely beautiful. The cabin was nice inside, the kitchen was nice.

The cabin was roasting all the time no fan to even keep cool, the beds weren't that comfey, the bin in the toilet had femiane products in it, may not of been full but that should be changed for every guest as its not something we need to see from previous guests for hygiene reasons, I understand you go away to enjoy the scenery but it was a down fall due to not having a TV, there's only so long you can sit in a hot tub for speak of the hot tub when paying £395 for 2 nights and only being there for 1 full day I don't think it's right the hot tub doesn't heat up on its own, also the fact the cabins outside someones back garden pretty much thought it was alot of money, wouldn't book again, sorry. We have been to alot better cabins/ glamping pods for alot less. Also wouldn't recommend the black bull as when we went in felt they were not welcoming at all, £7.50 for a plate of nachos which was just some cheese from a supermarket the tiniest bit of salsa and sour cream definitely would take that off the list, staff weren't nice at all and food wasn't great eathier. Really sorry we both just work hard and when paying that amount I expected better. I dont ever leave bad reviews this is probably the first. Sorry to the owner but it just wasn't a great experience for us. Thank you.

The paddock was a perfect get away for our one year anniversary. Everything about the stay was relaxing and chilled back. The facilities for the restroom and kitchen were perfect. Had everything we needed. It was well worth the 5 hour journey from England.

As the hot tub took a while to heat due to cold temperature on arrival (wood fired), host might have considered asking if we'd like it heated for arrival. Hot tub is overlooked by the house at one end, so not as private as one might have hoped for. Also there was a lack of kindling for the wood fired stove(s).

The location was perfect for us - such a nice view from the terrace. The bed is huge and really comfy. It has everything you need for self catering. It was a lovely bonus to have Paisley's company, beautiful ginger moggy.
