It was a very nice, clean and cosy cottage. The host had prepared a package of delicious local food, which was much appreciated. Also providing a Chrome app that could be used offline and contained lots and lots of information was very helpful. Quite some walks and sightseeing in the neighbourhood (but car needed to reach them).
The cottage is located directly alongside the busy A811 road, and the traffic sounds kept us awake. Nothing that can be done about that. WIFI reception was not very strong, probably because the main point was in the cleaning store and the walls are thick. Better put it in the living area? Also all the instructions were translated into Dutch using Google Translate, but that gave quite some formulation oddities. I'd prefer the original English ;-)

Direkt an der Landstraße gelegen.
Außenbereich daher nicht nutzbar.
Kein Ausblick. Kein Garten.
Freisitz veraltet.
Insgesamt etwas abgelegen.

There was nothing not to like. An immaculate and very well equipped little cottage close to the southern end of Lovh Lomond with Drymen close by for restaurants and inns for evening meals. Anne is a fantastic and very helpful host. Everything you’d wish for for a lovely stay in Scotland.
