Very handy for the centre of Nivelles.

We needed to stay in the centre of Nivelles for one night to attend a funeral. This place was perfect. Plenty of places in the vicinity of the main square to eat.

As a personal preference, we would have liked a door between the main room and the bathroom area. It would have been awkward if we had been a couple of friends, rather than a married couple ...

Overall an excellent stay, my 3rd at this venue, great location, clean, comfortable and spacious.

Great location, large Panoramic suite, modern refit, large comfortable super king bed.

Needs a Door on the toilet! (Sound-proof pls) Needs larger cups in the room (I bring my own tea bags and milk)

Great location in the central square of the town. Good value.

Location was great as I had an early appointment the following morning, some 7 minutes walk from the house.

The internal furnishings outside of the rooms, whilst of the time of the magnificent house, were a little tired and would benefit from an uplift. The bar clients on the terrace just outside the house, especially as I had an early turn-in for the following morning’s appointment.

The collegiate church is iconic but Nivelles has many more gems

The flat is centrally located, overlooking the main square. The train station can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. Perfect for exploring the Brabant Wallon. The flat is well furnished with a renovated big bathroom.

Very enjoyable central location in a small town

This property was right in the town square of Nivelles. You are right in the middle with easy walking paths and delicious restaurants nearby. There aren't too many touristy things nearby, but it's an adorable and quiet alternative to Brussels.

I wish they had a hairdryer in each room. It would have also benefitted from a small refrigerator in each room.

Basic accommodation

This is basic accommodation on the main square

There was no fire escape and no instruction as to what to do in the event of a fire. The rooms are accessed by a wooden stairway. There is another wooden stairway to the loft apartment. The doors at the back of the building are locked and no access to a key. We were very uneasy because of this , also because there has recently been a fire in a similar building on the square. There is no lighting in the hallway immediately inside the front door. The floors in our room were dusty as was the furniture. The shower area in the bathroom was not clean. Heating was minimal. There were only two towels for two people for four nights, one bath towel and one hand towel. We contacted the owner and he responded 12 hours later by which time we had found towels in a tumble dryer in the kitchen. There is no wardrobe or closet, just ikea hooks in the wall. There is Netflix but no ordinary tv channels.

What did I think of the breakfast? There was no breakfast but I wasn't expecting it anyway The room served a purpose, no more and no less.

The bedroom and bathroom were fine once you had located the property, found parking and gained entrance. No on site staf

Distance from car park to property. long walk up and down steep hill. car park opposite guest house being used for concert therefore very noisy. Steep stairs within property should be highlighted for future guests.

Interesting BnB in heart of Nivilles, Belgium

Location on the town's square was ideal for ease of access to restaurants and bars. Updates to the facility in the individual rooms was well done.

Shower drain did not drain very well, could only take about 3 minute shower before water would have overflowed the shower area onto the wood floor. Also, the parking prohibition Saturday morning due to the market was a problem, and we ran into problems with the vendor who put up his wares all around our parked motorcycles-- would have been nice to know.

exceptional space and very well appointed. A smart and tastefully, modernised room with a wonderful en-suite in a large period property, on the main square.

Would be useful to provide some coat hangers.

Le ménage n’avait pas été fait à mon arrivée à 19h. La gérante m’indique au téléphone que cela peut arriver. Le problème c’est qu’après avoir lu les avis, je ne suis pas la 1 ère à qui cela est arrivé. J’ai obtenu après beaucoup de relance, le remboursement de ma nuitée.

le bruit de la place était un soucis . (nous dormions côté rue) . y 'a t' il du double vitrage ? Donc peu dormis en raison de cela.

L'emplacement central, plein de petits restos sympas autour. La chambre de luxe avait vue sur la place de Nivelles. La décoration de la chambre et du petit salon. Capsules de café à disposition. Le propriétaire facilement joignable par téléphone Endroit à recommander.

Sympathique séjour

J’ai apprécié le lieu et sa décoration. Le confort fournit était très appréciable. La localisation était très chouette et l’entrée sécurisée.

Je n’ai pas apprécié le fait que je dispose de très peu d’équipement, ce qui est peu aisé pour un séjour de plus d’une nuit. Par exemple, j’aurais apprécié avoir de quoi mettre ma vaisselle sale, plus d’espace de poubelle et de quoi nettoyer rapidement l’évier. L’évier était bouché et la propreté des WC à revoir. L’hôte m’a répondu tardivement à une demande.

Groot en centraal gelegen appartement, maar helaas totaal niet schoon.

Groot appartement, direct op het centrale plein van Nivelles.

De luxe loft was niet schoon, we hebben zelf direct na aankomst maar schoongemaakt. De kussens op de bank waren vies, overal zwarte haren en veel spinnenrag. Het servies en het bestek waren niet schoon dus alles eerst in de vaatwasser moeten doen. Daarnaast was er lekkage in de keuken. En de aanwezige WiFi was met geen mogelijkheid aan de praat te krijgen. Er was ook geen informatie aanwezig over bijvoorbeeld het wegbrengen van het afval.
