The apartments are located in a quiet little village, and by the way, on the side of town where the beach entrance is! So you don't need to drive through the city and traffic jams. If you value peace and quiet and love nature, this place is perfectly made for you! Once I even walked to the beach on foot, but I don't recommend repeating that, because there are no sidewalks! So you definitely need a car. The lovely owner Luana helped us a lot. We had problems renting a car at the airport, and I reached out to Luana to ask if she could help, and she was so kind - she found bus and taxi schedules and even other car rental companies, and in the end she even came and picked us up herself in San Teodoro! That was so kind! Thank you, Luana!

This isn't about the apartments - it's about Sardinia in general. It's very hard to call a taxi. Even if you book in advance, they can easily call you back a couple of minutes later and say there's no taxi available. So you definitely need a car. As a last resort, there's a free shuttle, but its schedule is a bit odd. Also, be prepared that few people speak anything other than Italian.
