Beautiful Theme Apartments in Gran Via

The OShun apartment was a great find, located in a courtyard building, on side street of the busiest and most bustling square in Madrid, a great deal of fun! it s a "hub" to multiple metro lines- however those who stay here must be aware of certain issues; the apt is designed for a shorter term romantic couples retreat, and not "appointed" for a longer term stay, You must supply most everything, paper towels, spices, xtra toilet paper. If you are elder, and have any mobility issues, be aware, furnishings are low and there are levels of flooring, creating 'trip hazards". The management would greatly benefit from doing additional maintenance, on plumbing, (loose fixtures and leaking shower and the jacuzzi tub has a faulty drain), and they should add simple items such as towels for drying dishes, simple spices, and better instruction in the information booklet regarding the operation of washing machine, and local shopping resources. With some extra attention to detail this could qualify as an excellent rating. we are very independent and competent travelers so we were able to navigate the issues but other travelers who are less experienced may find it more difficult. Clearer and simpler instructions for check in would be helpful as well. It seems that we were expected to call on arrival to the building - the manager was already inside the apartment, but a language barrier led us to wait outside on the street for 40 minutes after we had a specific timed arrival.

The check-in process was extremely easy. The apartment was huge and beautiful.

Apartment is accurately reflected in the pictures. Very good location with easy walk to most downtown Madrid locations. Good selection of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk
