About this house rental

Welcome to Cois Easa, a stunning three bedroom holiday home on the banks of the Owenmore River, close to Mill Falls Waterfall. Beautifully renovated and fully furnished with all amenities, it can host 6 adult guests. The townhouse lies in a private estate in the town of Collooney, Co. Sligo along the Wild Atlantic Way, only a ten minute drive from Sligo town (12km). Enjoy golfing, surfing, fishing, horse riding, hiking or just relax at one of the many unspoiled beaches nearby!

Recently renovated, Cois Easa is located in Collooney, a Tidy Town in Northwest Ireland. Cois Easa, meaning „by the falls“ in Irish, lies directly on the banks of the Owenmore River, by the waterfall and the Old Mill, which dates back to the 18th century. Collooney town centre is a mere 5 minute stroll away. Here, you have a choice of supermarkets, take-aways and pubs; or enjoy a barista coffee at award winning Nook Cafe and Restaurant.

The house is situated in a quiet cul de sac at the end of the street with convenient parking to the front, just beside the river.
The ground floor hosts a modern, open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Relax after a busy day exploring on either of the two comfortable 2 1/2 seater sofas, or in the armchair beside the coffee table. Prepare an authentic Irish breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen with the necessary essentials, such as a Coffee Machine, Kettle, Toaster, Microwave/Grill, Fridge Freezer, built-in Electric Oven and Hob. Plenty of crockery and glasses are supplied. A Dishwasher and a Washer/Dryer are also available. The dining area is set up with four chairs but can accommodate up to six people with two extra chairs available.

The two bedrooms on the ground floor face towards the communal garden area. One bedroom can be set up either as a single or double bed. The other bedroom features a double bed. The guest bathroom has an electric shower. Jackets and shoes can be conveniently stored in the cloakroom at the end of the hall.

The bright and airy master bedroom with a large ensuite bathroom is located on the first floor. Stretch out on the super king size bed or enjoy the beautiful views overlooking the Owenmore River. A dressing table/laptop desk, chair and full size mirror are also at your disposable. There are two storage rooms to accommodate all your luggage on this floor.

We'd like to commend this vacation home. In general it served everything we were looking for. A swift and informative communication. A simple check-in and check-out. Very spacious rooms, which hosted us as a family of 5. Clean and new bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen incl. washing machine and laundry dryer. Smart TV with option to easily link up to Netflix & Co. Surely, it is a destination where we would recommend to have a rental car or similar to expore the surroundings of Collooney. But essentially the local store will also offer 90% of everything you'll need. Thanks again for hosting us.

Solid, secure, clean, and comfortable 3br 2ba home just south of Sligo. Quiet, safe neighborhood with picturesque waterfall and spawning stairs less than 200 feet away. Top notch communications and customer service from the owner (not a rental company). All amenities to start you off and a well-stocked grocery store a short walk up the hill.Car rental just outside of town and Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail) station stops in Collooney, as well. Highly recommend.

Just returned from a delightful week in Collooney. Owner is extremely polite and helpful; booking response was immediate. Directions to the stay and check in instructions were clear and thorough. Lovely clean home with comfortable furnishings along a river and falls. The location was perfect for accessing hiking trails and dining while avoiding the traffic and chaos of Sligo town.We can recommend Molly Fulton's just a couple of miles north for excellent food at good value. Connolly's Pub in Collooney is a fine choice for a good pint. A friendly, lively country pub a short walk from the house. Some very nice hikes and walks nearby, including the Benbulben Forest Walk. Highly recommend the hike to Carrowkeel, a quite mystical Neolithic site with the most remarkable views in the north of Ireland. Also, the hike up Knocknarea is extremely enjoyable.Only one thing missing: there was no option for making proper ground coffee in the house (there is a cartridge machine). We remedied that via a quick trip to the local hardware store, acquiring a small French press. We have donated that to the house for all you future ground coffee aficionados. Now the house is perfect.
