This apartment is located about 10 minutes walking distance outside of the city centre which is very nice. There is a busy street next to the bedroom windows, however this did not bother us very much. There are a few grocery stores close by and one is right across the street. It is a spacious apartment with many appliances. The bedrooms are big and the beds are very comfortable to sleep in. The airconditioning in the living room and in the big bedroom is a great feature for summer. The owners are nice and allowed an uncomplicated self check-in and check-out.
The apartment is a little outdated and is not as modern as it seems in the pictures. The washing maschine as well as the bathroom lock was broken. We also missed some cutlery, as there for example were only 3 knives. The apartment is great if you want to use it mainly for sleeping. However, if you want to spend a lot of time in it and cook and relax together, it is average and a bit limited. Nevertheless we had an amazing time in Split.

Location
This isn’t in the Old Town Split (little over 1km) nor nearby to the popular Bacvice Beach (2.8km away). Except in the blazing hot sun it’s an easy walk to the old Town and there are plenty of taxis (I used the app Bolt but most taxis seem to use both that and Uber) and fares to various places in town were quite reasonable. There is a bakery (part of the chain Babic) & grocery store opposite, massive LIDL about 1km away.
Facilities
The apartment is stocked with practically everything you use in your own home including a full fledged kitchen with a large fridge, kettle, microwave and hob, dining table/chairs, iron/ironing board, washing machine, etc. The 2 air conditioners are quite capable of keeping the flat cool even in the blazing summer heat, the availability of 2 bedrooms and a large sofa gives plenty of sleeping options.
The owner is very responsive and helpful and we had to call upon that help twice and both times they came through.
This is quite near to the football stadium for HNK Hadjuk and on match days it gets pretty noisy at night with people walking back from the match.
the lack of latches on the bathroom/bedroom doors. Our children are adult/teen and it felt weird to not have a latch and to announce that the bathroom was in use or that someone was changing. The other minor gripe was that the separate toilet didn’t have a washbasin.
