One of the electric heaters did not work although we only needed to use one anyway, and maybe you could use a king size duvet for the bed to avoid fighting your partner for the covers! We had a lovely stay, the views were amazing and we loved Skye. Thank you for having us.

Gorgeous Views On A Magical Isle

The property site is gorgeous - the views are amazing and the hosts work hard to make sure your enjoying your stay !

Be advised that the walk up to the house is gravel so it might be a little challenge to get wheeled luggage up.

A wonderful 3 night stay

This was our favourite stay so far on our time in Scotland. Our hosts Emma and Duncan were very patient and helpful as we had a bit of difficulty finding the driveway entrance to their place. They also proved very friendly and informative about some of the non touristy places to explore nearby and went out of their way to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The unit has a wonderful view out over the farms, water and to the distant mountains. It is immaculate and well equipped, especially with a hot tub to help relax at the end of the day.

The only thing that we could have used were some instruction books regarding operation of some of the various accessories such as heaters, fans, tv etc. A more visible sign to indicate the driveway entrance would help those of us who read maps rather than follow smartphone directions. :)

Beautiful stay in a lovely corner of the world.

Hosts were lovely and accommodated all of our needs, allowing us to get on with our holiday but gave us the local recommendations on arrival. Beautiful views across Skye and the water, regardless of rain or shine. Clean room, plenty of space for a couple. Location allows you to view the island at leisure but allows for the escape from the hustle and bustle of the tourist traps. For reference, Portree is an hour drive.

Beware the midges if/when you are using the hot tub. Can be difficult to locate the accommodation initially.

Superb little cabin with a beautiful view. Lovely little hot tub - perfect to sit in and watch the sunset.

No ventilation in the sleeping area and window didn’t have any vents or openings. Not a problem on cooler days but in the heat it was difficult to sleep.

Ein tolles Cabin! Ideal um Isle of Skye zu erkunden

Die Küchenausstattung fanden wir etwas zu minimal. Die Pfannen zum Beispiel hatten keine Deckel. Zudem war die Bratpfanne absolut nicht brauchbar, der Pfannenbelag war in der Mitte nicht mehr vorhanden.

Stunning view trifft es voll

Super süßes kleines Häuschen mit tollem Blick aufs Meer bei gutem Wetter. Total gemütlich und man fühlt sich richtig wohl. Küche war mit allem was für kurze Aufenthalte notwendig ist, ausgestattet. Duncan und Emma stehen bei Fragen oder Problemen auch jederzeit zur Verfügung und informieren auch, wenn etwas nicht funktioniert, wie bei uns z.B. das WLAN an einem Tag.

Es war alles perfekt, einzig die etwas wackeligen Treppen sind bei Regen etwas rutschig.
