Very big flat that easily accommodate 8 people

Excellent condition and character period property. Generally very spacious with the only exception of one of the bedrooms, but that was ok for young child. The communication with the owner was very good and prompt over WhatsApp.

Minor but no UK channels on the TV or ability to stream via Netflix for example (unless we weren’t able to figure it out!).

The apartment is very, very large and in a really lovely neighborhood with easy access to everything you need. The apartment has the potential to be absolutely stunning but it needs a bit of care with finishing touches. The bathrooms felt very clean - they are spacious and plentiful. It was easy to find the apartment and it felt very safe.

The host was difficult to access via booking.com during our stay, so I had to WhatsApp her. We have a number of challenges whilst there and the resolution was "we will look at it on Monday" which was when we left. She did apologise but it didn't feel like excellent service, it almost felt like we were among the first guests to trial run the apartment. The issues included: ants in the kitchen, a broken TV, a broken glass corner of the hob, an automatic light that comes on very brightly in the corridor when you walk out of your room at night (a challenge with a sleeping baby!), and people drunkenly ringing the doorbell in the early morning. The latter two need a bit of warning in a guest book or similar, and the first 3 issues need to be fixed ASAP. The apartment in general just needs a thorough clean and some new furniture in the living spaces, and it would then be the most stunning space in the heart of a lovely neighbourhood.
