It was a lovely setting. Very peaceful - though planes go overhead - we couldn’t hear them.
The bell tent is lovely. It’s got everything you need.
The cat is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen!
There was a simplicity to it all - exactly what we wanted!
The only negative was I got woken by my son around 4am (as he’d wriggled out of his sleeping bag and was cold) and I could hear the road but it’s far away (it would never wake you up itself). I think as it was quiet - the sound carried. It did not disrupt our trip.

The comfortable bed. The inclusion of all basic equipment. The spacious area giving privacy. Quick positive helpful responses from staff. Good for access to Oxford by bus.
Toilets were too far away for us ‘oldies’! And washing up facilities. The site was surprisingly noisy with traffic- air and road throughout the night. There were no table and chair facilities within the tent.(we moved chairs inside). We were freezing after sun down - except in bed-and had next to no warmth from the provided heater.
We conclude we are too old for ‘glamping’ !!
