Eclectic 'Osage Cottage' in Historic District

I thought the location was "near" the Crescent Hotel, but honestly we could not have been closer. Where the Crescent property ended the Osage Cottage began, so it was easy to catch the trolley, and we had quick access to the restaurants at the hotel., including the Skybar Gourmet Pizza. The cottage was well equipt with everything you could hope for in a kitchen. The decor in the house was beautifully appointed. It was cozy without feeling cramped. The front of the cottage is close to the road (note - no traffic noise), but the expansive backyard had tiered seating for a large group surrouned by beautiful landscaping and lush tree canopies. The two bedrooms were spacious with attached bathrooms. The third bedroom with a trundle bed was less inviting without windows and you have to walk through this room to reach the master bedroom, but the bed was comfortable and met our needs. Parking was so easy in the front of the house and accommodated our SUV and truck. We contacted the owner twice with minor issues and they responded immediately. All in all, we loved our stay and look forward to visiting the Osage Cottage again soon.
