A beautiful, cosy, and truly unique place run with genuine heart

I loved my stay at La Bouverie. It truly is a unique, top-notch destination. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, and the whole place feels like a hidden gem. There are so many thoughtful touches that make the experience both enjoyable and unforgettable: the kindness of the welcoming hosts, the charming décor, and the excellent food. Isabelle and François are the kindest souls, exceptionally accommodating, patient, and always making sure you get the very best out of your stay. I cannot recommend the breakfast highly enough! It is a real feast, with mostly home-made delicacies such as omelettes, yoghurt, cakes, pastries, jams, and much more. And you certainly get great value, as Isabelle even makes sure you get your packed lunch. A beautiful place run with genuine heart. I could not have asked for more.

Beautiful rooms all decorated in individual styles to a very high standard with the theme of relaxation which is exactly what we needed after a 12 hour drive The hosts are a lovely couple so friendly and accomodating. We will be returning but next time for longer stay.

Beautiful B&B with the most welcoming hosts

The welcome by Isabelle and Jean-Francois was outstanding - they were waiting for us with drinks and delicious bites. They are very warm and lovely people. The location is superb, a beautiful house in a quiet, nature-surrounded area. Every morning we came down to the most delicious breakfast we ever had: fruits, fresh juice, salmon, croissants, all sorts of bread and cheeses, and a delicious homemade omelette prepared by Jean-Francois. We are looking forward to coming back.

An exceptionally pleasant stay in a renovated old farmhouse in the Ardennes.

The owners were super friendly. Breakfast was magnificent and abundant. We were also encouraged to fill up picnic bags for our hike. There is a lot of atmosphere in this old farmhouse, which has been very tastefully decorated by the owners. The welcome drink was an unforeseen pleasant surprise.

There were two beams in the ceiling of our room (Bali) that were a bit low for a tall man like myself!

What an experience ! We will be back !

The hosts were most welcoming, and the breakfast & apero outstanding. Also the possibility to prepare your lunchbag is new for us in a B&B, but a great asset as most guests go out for a walk in the beautiful surroundings. The rooms were very cozy, quiet and super clean and the instant hot water was such pleasure after a long walk. Thank you Isabelle and Jean-François, It was great meeting you !

Heerlijk verblijf!

Bedankt voor het heerlijke verblijf! Wij waren er met ons zoontje van 4 maanden. De kamer Bali was zeker ruim genoeg voor ons drietjes. De gastvrouw was heel hartelijk. We werden verwelkomd met een heerlijk hapje en drankje. Ook het ontbijt was super! Wij komen nog eens terug!

Une de nos meilleures chambres d’hôtes en Belgique!

Nous n’avons pas eu de soleil : nous avons eu deux soleils : Isabelle et Jean-Francois ! Ils sont fantastiquement généreux, accueillants et d’une humeur positive qui vous booste ! Une des meilleures chambres d’hôtes que nous avons faites ! Tous les détails sont soignés et ils y prennent plaisir.

Tout était parfait même la nouvelle coupe de Jean-Francois.

Alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Eigenaren zijn erg betrokken en doen het met passie.

Verzorgd ontbijt, omelet naar keuze, verse produkten. Diner was heel uitgebreid. Betrokken eigenaren die er veel energie & liefde in stoppen.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft - Top Gastgeber - Unbeschreiblich reichhaltiges Frühstück

Die Unterkunft und ihre Gastgeber verdienen eine 10 mit einem Extra-Stern! Ich war von der Unterkunft, der Gastfreundlichkeit, dem Engagement und der Hilfsbereitschaft von Isabelle und Jean-Francois sowie dem Frühstück und dem Begrüßungs-Apéro überwältigt. Mit der Ankunft merkt man sofort das die Beiden ihren Gästen den bestmöglichen Aufenthalt in der wunderschönen Landschaft der Botrange ermöglichen möchten. Mein Zimmer war wunderschön eingerichtet und dekoriert. Das Haus ist frisch renoviert und es ist ein Traum. Das Frühstück ist der Hammer, unbeschreiblich. Es ist so reichhaltig, dass ich meine geplante Abreisezeit (wegen längerer Radtour) überzogen habe. Nach dem Frühstück kann man problemlos 160km Radfahren. :) Der Garten ist sehr großzügig, mit Sonnenliegen, die ich nachts zum Schauen der Sternschnuppen genutzt habe. Ich möchte mich auf diesem Wege nochmal ganz herzlich bei Isabelle und Jean-Francois für ihre Gastfreundschaft bedanken! Ihr seid die besten Gastgeber, die man sich vorstellen kann und ich komme sehr gerne wieder in das wunderschöne La Bouverie! Un. grand merci!

Gazde excepționale, mâncarea foarte bună, curățenie și o atmosferă relaxantă. Pisici prietenoase, cateva locuri unde poti sa te relaxezi sau sa iei masa in aer liber, de urmarit cum va evolua acest loc incantator in viitor. Cu siguranta vom reveni!

Geweldig!

Alles beviel. Een prachtige B&B, zelf gerenoveerd door de eigenaren, die ons enthousiast verwelkomden met een lekker welkomstdrankje en heerlijk zelfgemaakte hapjes. Prachtige, schone kamer met koffie/thee faciliteiten, goed bed. Ook kun je gebruik maken van de bar beneden. Je schrijft op wat je hebt genuttigd. Het ontbijt was fantastisch verzorgd. O.a. vers fruit, zelf gebakken taart, cake, verse stokbroden, beleg, zelf gemaakte yoghurt, verse zalm als je dat wilt, een gebakken omelet bereidt door de gastheer. Deze lieve mensen doen er alles aan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Je ziet de passie die zij hebben, alles is tot in de puntjes geregeld. Heel mooi. En dit alles in een geweldige omgeving waar wij heerlijke wandelingen hebben gemaakt. Ook ligt het stadje Monchau in Duitsland niet ver van deze B&B, wat ook zeker een bezoek waard is. Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug.

Unsere Entscheidung für dieses B&B war genau richtig. Die Lage des Hauses, die Ausstattung aller Räume und die unglaubliche Sorgfalt und Liebe zum Detail, mit der dieses B&B betrieben wird, haben uns begeistert. Isabelle und Jean-Francois sind sehr aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.

Het was geweldig

De gastvrijheid en het eten. De locatie was ook prachtig dicht bij mooie stadjes en op wandel afstand van prachtige natuur. Het huisje zelf is ook zeer mooi gerenoveerd en ingericht. Zeker aan te raden om eens heen te gaan

Het viel een klein beetje tegen dat er geen airco was maar zo'n lelijke moderne dingen in zo'n prachtig gerenoveerde woning zou niet passen dus, de warme kamer is snel opgelost door de ramen open te zetten

Paradies im Hohen Venn

Die Unterkunft ist großartig! Sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll gestaltet mit schönen Innen- und Aussenbereich. Wir wurden von Isabelle und Jean Francois herzlich empfangen mit einem kleinen Snack u Aperitif. Wir konnten abends das gemütliche Wohn/Barzimmer nutzen, grandioses Frühstück im Garten mit allem , was man wünscht (incl Wanderlunchpaket). Ideal zum Wandern im Hohen Venn. Nächstes Mal bleiben wir länger!

Supervriendelijke, warme en gastvrije ontvangst. Heerlijk ontbijt. Gezellige en propere kamer. De uitbaters doen er alles aan om je een welkom gevoel te geven en zijn oprecht enthousiast. Goede locatie om de Hoge Venen te ontdekken en te genieten van de natuur in de achtertuin van de B&B.

Aus einem kurzen Wochenende wurde ein tolles Erlebnis.

Ein warmherziger Empfang , in einer tollen Unterkunft. Isabelle und Jean Francois haben sich einen Traum erfüllt und geben diese Freude an ihre Gäste weiter. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und jedes hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, (Unbedingt das tolle Omelette von Jean Francois probieren). Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können einen Aufenthalt dort nur wärmstens empfehlen .

Super! Een dikke vette TIEN

Ontbijt was super, veel keuze en veelal zelf bereid en men is super vriendelijk. De locatie lag centraal dichtbij verschillende wandelgebieden, het is een hele mooie omgeving. Wij hebben een geweldig weekend gehad!

In mijn optiek geen redenen tot verbetering. Het bezoek aan Le Bouverie was boven verwachting. We hebben enorm genoten.

Le paradis en toute saison !

C'était notre deuxième séjour et c'est aussi bien l'été que l'hiver ! Tout est merveilleux. La maison est à l'image de ses hôtes : ultra chaleureuse et accueillante. On s'y sent bien, tous les détails sont parfaits. Et la base : lits confortables, calme, belle vue, petit-déjeuner ultra-copieux, délicieux et varié (omelette complète extraordinaire et Isabelle propose un petit lunch bag si l'on a eu les yeux plus gros que le ventre). J'oublie certainement des choses !
