Perfect location in Uzès

The apartment was very comfortable and well located. The host Leo was very helpful and generous. The bed was very comfortable and the views from the window were just as hoped for. TBH it exceeded expectations and was just fantastic.

The location, above a busy market. The owner, Leo, was so welcoming and helpful. Amazing towels!!

No air conditioning in 40 degree heat. But we had huge windows and big fans so we were comfortable. There was no WiFi but we had access at a nearby café.

Only lacking a hair-dryer. People with mobility isses may have difficulty with staircase to level 3, but we had no problems at all. Well lit.

Its location was fantastic. Right in the most beautiful central square. It was spacious,quirky and quiet with a comfortable bed and good shower The owner couldn’t have been more helpful and runs a great little restaurant close by.

We loved the position and the town was beautiful

The shower was impossible to use properly. No hairdryer No noinstructions on kitchen equipment etc etc getting into the place was rotten with much easier directions available. Not warned of twisted steps. Position was excellent.

perfect location overlooking the trees of the main square.

the location is in centre of old town, the market and restaurants are just outside the door. Free parking 10 mins away on edge of town (Stade de refuge or similar name). Accommodations is in Old building with stylish renovation. Leo, the host was generous with details like coffee pods and sparkling water.

No wifi is a bit of a challenge. Beautiful old stone stairs are steep but we managed ok. Some early morning street cleaning noises especially after Saturday market but I guess they have to do it sometime.

Excellent location for short stay

Located on the Place aux Herbes the location is superb with bars and restaurants only metres away. It’s modestly furnished but clean and comfortable. It is surprisingly quiet given it’s location.The bed is large and the little kitchen adequate. There are a couple of downsides however. Access to the property by car is extremely difficult as the centre of Uzes is pedestrianised although departing the property is easier as vehicles are allowed in between 7- 10 am. A small amount of luggage is a real benefit not least because access to the flat is up a stone spiral staircase.Finding the apartment on the square is not obvious either and it’s worth ringing in advance to make sure you are met. There is no free parking nearby it’s about a 10 minute walk to a large public car park. Overall it’s worth the effort as it’s a lovely town to wander around. It’s only suitable for couples.

Perfect location, beautiful apartment and wonderful host.

Leo is such a fantastic host. The property is immaculate with an excellent view of the square where the markets are held. The apartment had everything we could possibly need and parking was available nearby as well as a huge range of shops and restaurants. Our stay was just perfect.

Magnifique studio en plein centre d'Uzès

L'appartement (studio) est juste magnifique, et a été décoré avec beaucoup de goût, La cuisine est très bien équipée (avec toute la vaisselle nécessaire pour 4 personnes avec casseroles, ustensiles de cuisine, ainsi que différentes huiles, vinaigrette, vinaigre, sel, poivre, savon de vaisselle, torchon de cuisine, machine Nespresso avec capsules fournies, bouilloire et différents thés). Le lit est très confortable, ainsi que les petits fauteuils du salon pour lire un livre. On accède à l'appartement via un escalier en colimaçon, donc il ne faut pas avoir de soucis de mobilité. Personnellement j'ai adoré cet escalier, qui a beaucoup de charme. Il n'y a pas de télévision, ni d'air-co (mais il y a 3 ventilateurs), mais je n'en avais pas besoin. Le samedi matin il y a le marché juste en bas, il y a du bruit bien sur, mais cela ne m'a pas dérangé, cependant si vous ne voulez aucun bruit le matin, vous n'aimerez peut-être pas. La prochaine fois à Uzès, c'est sur, je réserve le même appartement!

Beau séjour au centre historique d’Uzés

La situation de l’appartement est idéale, en plein centre historique d’Uzés. Très bien équipé, très confortable et spacieux, je recommande à 100% cet appartement. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par notre hôte qui a été d’une grande disponibilité et gentillesse.

Die Wohnung ist sehr speziell gelegen. Man wähnt sich in einer vergangenen Zeit. Der Eingang führt in eine Säule des Laubengangs. Die Ausstattung ist super! Ein für Frankreich aussergewöhnlich grosses Bett. Leo der Gastgeber ist sehr grosszügig, nett und immer erreichbar.

Da die Wohnung an einem hochfrequentierten (autofreien) Platz ist gibt es immer etwas zu hören und sehen.

Une merveilleuse semaine de vacances à Uzès

C'était un des plus bons gîtes de vacances qu'on a loué les années dernières. L'acceuil par Léo était facile et chaleureux et il était toujours accessible par WhatsApp pour des questions pendant la semaine. Les lits sont trés confortable, la petite cuisine est suffisante pour préparer un petit déjeuner et un simple repas. Les capsules de café sont offerts. L'appartement était au troisième étage et accessible par des escaliers étroits et irreguliers. Il était spacieux et lumineux. Là, on se retrouve audessus des platanes mais connecté au monde par le constant mumure qui monte de la place aux herbes audessous.

Rien de grave, deux points mineurs: On pourrait augmenter l'equipment de cuisine avec des coquetiers et aussi avec deux petites assiettes de plus. Ce n'était pas possible de fixer correctement la pomme de douche au mur.

Très joli appartement, hyper propre et très bien situé sur une jolie place arborée et en plein centre d'Uzès. Le propriétaire était présent dès notre arrivée, très sympathique, il nous a donné de bons conseils et a été très flexible sur l'horaire de départ. Nous avons été enchantés de notre weekend, c'était parfait.

Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in dem wirklich toll gelegenen Appartement. Leo war großartig. Er überreichte uns die Schlüssel und war immer erreichbar. Es war alles sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Lage ist auch sensationell.

Wir waren mitten am Marktplatz dort kann es Abends und am Morgen etwas lauter werden.

Det var langt, langt over forventning. Smagfuldt indrettet. Stilfuldt. Virkelig indrettet med særdeles god smag, og med kvalitet og funktionelt på alle måder. Udstyreret med alle nødvendige praktiske ting, og alt var nyt og mere en OK. Var mejet overrasket ov den fuldkomne og gennemførte sans for kvalitet, udsmykning og funktionalitet. Personlig service på højt niveau. Kan og vil meget gerne anbefale dette sted til alle.

Kunne lide alt ved stedet. Dette er ikke "une chambre" - men en lejlighed på højeste niveau !

Un gîte d’exception.

En premier lieu, la situation. Plus centrale que ça, impossible. Ensuite la décoration, très originale. Et aussi les petits plus : mise à disposition d’eau minérale, de capsules de café, de thé, le savon, de tellement bonne qualité que, plutôt que le laisser, et qu’il soit jeté, nous l’avons emporté. Tout était trop bien. Nous recommandons.

Idéalement situé sur la place aux herbes, il permet de déposer régulièrement les achats au logement, en particulier le samedi, jour de marché sur la place, superbe. Le logement est grand et clair, bien équipé, très propre. Léo est de bon conseil (parking, ...) et sympathique.

L'activité sur la place, le samedi matin tôt, parce que nous dormons fenêtres ouvertes. Mais les fenêtres fermées sont phonétiquement très isolantes, problème résolu !

La lluminositat i l'amplitud de l'apartament. L'amfitrió molt amable. El llit molt ampli i còmode. Molt cèntric i tranquil.

Per accedir a l'apartament hi havia una escala de caragol molt incòmode sobretot per pujar i baixar l'equipatge. Recomanaria que s'especifiqués aquest fet a la informació prèvia de l'apartament. També caldria especificar que el pàrquing gratuït està situat a 1000 m de l'apartament. Els que estan més a prop són de pagament.

Wohnen im Herzen von Uzés

Die Lage ist super, direkt am Hauptplatz wo der Markt stattfindet und sich jede Menge Restaurants befinden. Die Wohnung hat sehr viel Ambiente und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt. Der Gastgeber Leo ist unheimlich nett und dafür besorgt, dass man alles hat, was man braucht. Die Kommunikation per Whatsapp mit ihm funktioniert perfekt und er frägt nach, ob alles o.k. ist oder ob man etwas braucht. Und dann bringt er sogar noch eine Flasche Wein vorbei😊 Da wir aufgrund des schlechten Wetters schon 2 Tage früher abgereist sind, wurde uns vom Gastgeber angeboten, die beiden Nächte GRATIS zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt nachzuholen. Das ist aussergewöhnlich und habe ich noch nie erlebt. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen. Merci Leo und bis zum nächsten Mal!

Duschen, ohne das Bad zu überschwemmen, ist schwierig. Das könnte man besser lösen.
