Lovely apartment, well-equipped for a perfect stay in Uzès. The view out the window of the castle and the pedestrian square is magnificent! Only a 5 minute walk to the parking garage is so easy, but also a great location for just walking to shops, restaurants, and the market. The bed is comfortable and all is very clean. Our host Brigitte was so kind and responsive to any questions during our stay. We highly recommend this 18th century apartment!

We felt really part of the small town of Uzes for the duration of our stay. We hardly left the town, other than short walks to Saint Quentin La Potteries to visit the museum and galleries. Market days are bustling, but every day was delightful. The Apartment had everything we needed and the view is simply from the living room is simply beautiful.

This lovely period property was as described and as in the photos. Full of charm and historical character in a fantastic location. The apartment is tastefully decorated and very clean. Uzès is a great town to base yourself to tour on day trips and the town itself has a lot going on. Brigitte met us on arrival on time and was helpful. Parking comes with the apartment which is very close by. The kitchen is well equipped but the one thing that could have been added to the property were some staples in the kitchen such as sugar, salt, oil, coffee, tea etc. For the most part we were happy with our stay. Thank you to Brigitte & Manon for your hospitality.

The apartment is situated in a quiet and beautiful spot smack in the middle of old Uzes. It has lots of charm, with high, painted, coffered ceilings. The appliances and kitchen ware all in good condition and worked well. The apartment is only a few steps from restaurants, boulangeries, and facilities in old Uzes. Mme Favand was extremely helpful. She met us at the apartment according to our schedule and she pre-arranged parking for our car in the underground garage close by the apartment. We had bicycles that were easily accommodated in the foyer on the ground floor, We would not hesitate to stay again when we are in Uzes. What a treat!

The owner came to my rescue and picked me up after a long train and bus ride, she is an absolute delight.She even went a step further and booked me a taxi for a smooth exit.I love Uzes and loved hiking to the river from both directions, and I was right in the centre of all the action. The town markets, especially the Saturday one are fabulous - and as a vegetarian, I hope you find the organic shop up side street from Casino super marcheI will come again to stay in this apartment, if she will have me - loved it

My husband and I were very comfortable in this apartment during our five day stay in Uzès, and we felt quite fortunate to have found it. We reserved it many months ago, and Brigitte was very helpful and responsive by email to all of our questions as we got closer to our arrival. As other reviewers mention, the bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment was spacious enough for us to feel relaxed and uncrowded. The kitchen provided us with everything we needed to cook dinners three of our four nights in Uzès, and we appreciated having the small but very functional washing machine. We were plenty warm in the apartment, even though the temperature outside was quite cold. A stack of books and maps about the town and general area helped us get oriented and plan our day trips in this extraordinarily beautiful area. The apartment is perfectly located in this charming and walkable village. Uzès's market in the Place aux Herbes (Saturdays and Wednesdays) is fabulous. We had a delicious dinner at La Fille des Vignes one evening, and it looks like there are several other nice restaurants within a couple minutes' walk of the apartment. I definitely recommend this apartment and this town.

My sister and I spent a week in Brigitte's lovely apartment in Uzès. She warmly welcomed us upon arrival and personally showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment. It is in a great location (la Place du Duché) for walking around town, only a few minutes walk to La Place aux Herbes, the town center. Having a nearby underground parking spot included with the apartment made it so convenient when we wanted to take a drive to explore the surrounding area. The apartment is very clean and spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped if you decide to prepare your own meals. The dishwasher and washing machine are also great to have for a long stay. Even when it is warm outside, there is a lovely breeze that comes in. The best part of all is the incredible view out the window of the Duché d'Uzes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment and we highly recommend it!

I just returned from a 5 week stay in an apartment that was perfect for me! If you're looking to stay in American style accomodations, book a 5 star hotel or resort. My purpose was to live as regular French people live. (One caveat....one set of turret steps). This apartment met my every need & Briggite is a wonderful hostess. Thank you again, Brigitte! This was a wonderful home base for our stay in Uzes. We enjoyed the beauty of the apartment and the convenience of being in the heart of Uzes. We slept so well on the bed, I wanted to take it home. We enjoyed shopping at the Saturday market and coming home to cook (just be warned there is no full sized oven, so plan accordingly). We also enjoyed photographing the Duchy during an evening lightning storm right out the window. The only downside might be that, given it's location in the heart of Uzes, it was occasionally a little noisy - particularly when the children were arriving at the nearby school at the start of the day. The hospitality and communication were great and check-in/check-out were super easy. The apartment was very clean and exactly what we expected based on the listing description and photos. For the price, this apartment is unbeatable (at least that's our humble opinion) and we would highly recommended it.

Nous avons visité la belle ville d'Uzès en septembre et avons passé de très très bonnes deux semaines dans cet appartement. Uzès est un point de départ idéal pour explorer le Languedoc.L'appartement est spacieux, confortable et bien équipé. Le prix inclus une place dans une parking à cinquante mètres qui est très commode.La location de l'appartement est superbe -en face du Duché, c'est à deux à pied des magasins et de la belle place du marché. Il y a beaucoup de restaurants et le marché est formidable les samedis et les mercredis. Brigitte est une hôtesse sympathique. Elle nous a bien aider mais elle n'est pas indiscrète. Recommandé!

We stayed for 10 nights and loved it. Great location, lots of room, comfortable king size bed!! Nice kitchen, even a small washing machine to catch up on our laundry. Brigitte was a great help in the rental and gave us some nice tips on things to see. Uzes is a great medieval walking town, great places to eat, cafes, and several fantastic markets held each week. It was easily our best value stay on our 3 week trip to France. Highly recommend!! 5 STARS !!!!

I was very pleased with my stay at this apartment. The online photos of the apartment and description matched exactly what I found and having parking included (underground and street level) was another plus. There is a striking view of the castle, which is lit at night, from the living room and you are within a 5 minute walk to the lively main square. The owner told me about the very clean municipal pool which is a 5 or 10 minute walk, which has an adjoining park.(There is also a nice tennis club where you can rent courts right next door to the pool.) Or, you can hang out at the little cafes around the main road that circles the town. The tourist's office is 5 minutes away. Really a perfect, quiet location from which to enjoy Uzes and the surrounding region. You really don't need a car since they have a great bus system (Edgar) that will take you to Avignon, Pont du Gard, Arles, and the smaller villages etc. Uzes is just big enough that you can make it your home for a week and not feel isolated yet feel like you are in a very quaint town that hasn't lost its original character. You can have a lovely time and this is a perfect place to take it all in.

When we first viewed this property online, we were drawn to its simple, authentic character and it didn't disappoint! This spacious, clean, quiet apartment is conveniently located in the heart of stunning Uzes, making it easy to walk to the Place aux Herbes, shops, cafes, restaurants and historic sites. Immediately outside our windows, we never tired of the amazing view of the Duchy, which was even more magical at night! The apartment had everything we needed; we especially appreciated the warm, comfortable bed and would only suggest some small upgrades to the bathroom. Brigitte was lovely and a pleasure to deal with throughout our correspondence and in person. With good value for the price, we would definitely recommend this charming property for anyone wishing to experience the true Uzes.

My husband and I spent 3 wonderful weeks in this spacious comfortable apartment. The kitchen appliances were new, the bathroom was more than adequate with plenty of towels and supplies, the queen bed was new and very comfortable and the living room was large with plenty of sitting places. The location was the best with a 2 minute walk to the market, tourist office, the village square, restaurants and shops. There were only 5 other apartments in this building. There were just a few steps up to our unit from the locked entry on a small side street. Safe, excellent covered parking was nearby. This is an extremely safe village and this building was very safe and quiet with most units occupied by just one female. We used the village of Uzes as our center to visit cities in western Provence such as Arles, Avignon and Tarascon. Uzes is a magical place and we spent many enjoyable days inside its peaceful yet vibrant walls.

Appartement plein de charme, superbement bien situé pour tout faire à pied ! Tous les commerces à proximité, presque pas besoin de la voiture, sauf pour visiter cette belle région !!Linge fourni, ce qui est un plus ! Très propre, avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour ! Accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire, qui aime les chats, donc qui les accepte !! Peut être juste un petit mauvais point pour la salle de bain ! A part cela, si nous revenons sur Uzès, nous reviendrons dans cet appartement !

appartement tres jolie, propre et bien rangé, bien équipé, décorées avec goût et très agréable. Lit confortable, salle de bain très propre avec douche, le linge propre. Tres beau emplacement en face du château, juste derrière la place aux herbes, dans le centre historique de Uzes. Malgré la chaleur du Août a l'enterieur de la maison nous etions tres bien, il y avait aussi fan. La rue est calme la nuit e pendant le jour, pas de bruit des autres appartements. La proprietaire est très agréable e la description donnée sur le site est exacte. On peut faire de nombreuses excursions intéressantes e ou tout simplement profiter du calme dans les rues.
