My daughter and I are gluten free so it was difficult. We took our own food but we’re glad that milk was provided. The place was spotless and it was a great location. The beds were very comfortable.

Great stay,very good location for the bus:)

Very nice, clean, spacious modern, sunny flat. Modern appliances, corn flakes,milk,croissants and coffee/tea were available on our arrival. Very thoughtful and convenient. Everything we needed for our long weekend was there. Bus right at the corner outside the property. Spar mini market further up the hill.

Beautiful views, clean and well equipped.

It was clean, modern and well equipped in an equally well maintained building. Walking distance from city centre. Beautiful sunset views from the lounge. Everything worked. Agents were kind enough to leave milk in the fridge and cereal for us.

No complaints, just to note that the walk to the city centre is steep uphill on the way back.

Lovely stay

Comfy apartment and very clean. Lots of space with newly funished furnitures. We like the most is full of amenities that we are group of family so we can cook, play and enjoy our stay with joy.

Nice location.

The apartment is in a wonderful position. The bus into town is literally outside the front door. So convenient. It was very clean. A few little cleaning details had been missed but nothing revolting. Very comfortable beds. Good value for money.

The cleaners were still there when we arrived. Had to wait 25 minutes for them to leave. I messaged to say this was happening and no one replied. :( There’s a lovely little sign that says there’s frozen croissants in the freezer but there was none. And when I contacted them to let them know about it they said they would replace them but never did. I had to message twice about the cleaners for them to finally reply. I hate feeling like my thoughts don’t matter. Would have been a 9/10 but having to follow up on things annoyed me.

Highly recommend

Loved the apartment's location in the building in that we were on the top floor so no chance of the sound of people walking about in a flat above. Also loved the physical location in that it was in a very smart area of town. The apartment is fully equipped with every convenience - e.g. all types of crockery, cutlery, oven with hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer & dryer and an excellent coffee machine (plus teabags & instant coffee). It also comes with cereal, milk, & frozen pastries. Bedrooms were a good size & the beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were great & come equipped with soap, shampoo & towels. Finally there was a hairdryer & an iron & ironing board to top off the list of things you didn't need to take!

There's only a couple of slight downsides. One of the bedrooms has a decent sized ensuite, whereas the other has what could be construed as a shared facility which is across the hall & which has a tiny wash basin. Other point is that the location - whilst being in a very nice area of Bath - is on a rather steep hill. It didn't trouble us as there's a bus service roughly at the of the road to & from Bath but also an Uber wasn't too much either.

Great stay but avoid parking on the street as not safe

The apartment was exactly as expected. The beds were comfortable and apartment was very clean. We had an issue with a pungent smell from the fridge which was remedied the same day. The parking space has the number of the apartment and is possible to access the apartment through the back/side door near to the parking space. Only suggested addition would be a tea towel but there is plenty of kitchen roll and sponge, washing up liquid were provided.

As we were travelling from different parts of the country we needed to spaces and were advised there was generally parking on the road nearby. Although we’re able to park in one of the other apartments spaces for a day. Whilst parked on the road my car was damaged twice - firstly my tyre was let down - totally flat and not driveable (unfortunately found that out after paying Halfords to come out and replace the tyre - the machine couldn’t find any explanation for my tyre to be deflated) and after that was scratched the complete length of the car and am going to need two panels and two doors repaired - so spoilt our time in Bath as with some of it was spent organising/waiting for repairs. The two visitor spaces were free the entire time we were there, so damage could possibly have been avoided had there been the opportunity to parking in one of these. So be careful if you are parking on the street.

Excellent layout and plenty of space. Cleanliness couldn’t have been better. Towels sheets etc super clean and luxurious. Frozen croissants a treat - once we remembered!!

The very hi-tech coffee machine did not seem to work 😩. As we had seen it - we were disappointed not to be able to use it. A very minor point though.

Light, clean, comfy beds

We didn't dislike anything but there were a few problems. Feather pillows as I am allergic. Also the floorboards outside slipped and created a trip problem. Also outside two seater was slightly broken

A great home from home to explore the delights of Bath

The apartment was clean, spacious and bright. The coffee machine was a brilliant touch and the balcony on the apartment was a fantastic space to enjoy the stunning views!

The en-suite was spacious, however it quickly steamed up while using the shower as the extractor felt weak for the need. But a steamy bathroom may be ok for some, not my preference.

Clean, comfortable apartment in a great location

We (two mature married couples) stayed at No 7 Charlecote House from 11th to 14th August. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well furnished throughout and with a fully equipped kitchen. An added bonus was the fact that there was an ensuite bathroom including a good size shower cubicle as well as a separate bathroom (with shower) adjacent to the second bedroom. Both double beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. There is also an outdoor terrace, accessed via the patio doors, with a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. The allocated parking at the property is easily accessible and there is plenty of on road parking close to, if required for a second vehicle. Ideally situated, it is a downhill 15 minute walk into the city with the added bonus of a regular bus (no 31) which runs every 15 minutes to and from the city - the bus stops to and from Bath are both within a two minute walk from the apartment. Overall the property, location and parking exceeded all our expectations and we would definitely recommend a stay at Charlecote House.

A great stay in a beautiful town!

Excellent bathrooms and comfortable mattresses. Very clean and nice location in Bath. Good parking spot for the car. The snakes and ladders game was a fun addition.

Beautiful modern kitchen but missing some kitchen utensils for convenient cooking: frying pan, big pan is missing a lid and oven mits. Also in the hallway it would be convenient to have a coat & shoe rack, perhaps also some hooks in the bathrooms for towels or clothes.

A good, centrally, priced location which I would stay again and recommend to my family and friends.

The location was excellent, just a 10 minute walk down hill to the centre of Bath. We travelled back up the steep hill by Taxi. The park and ride bus is also available which stops at the top of the street. Apartment was huge, clean and quiet. We found milk, water and breakfast pastries in the fridge freezer together with cereal, tea, coffee which was a lovely gesture for our stay which was surprise. We did not use as we had brought out own supplies. There is free on street parking just outside the apartment if you are arriving 2 cars.

The only thing that could be improved is that there were no mirrors in the bedroom unless they were hidden somewhere. A small or long full size wall or moveable mirror would be ideal. We found it difficult to dry our hair and look fabulously dressed before we went out. The only mirror was in the bathroom.

Everything!! Stunning apartment for our Bath holiday

Lovely furnishings and decorations, it shows a clear effort to make the apartment feel homely. We loved the touch of having milk and frozen pastries provided. It helped with breakfast the next morning after a long day of travels. Excellent location close to a bus stop for park and ride into town.

There were a couple of spots where we could see the paint peeling off walls, so it could use a bit of a touch up but the positives far outweighs this slight negative.

The apartment is so close to Royal High School of Bath about 2 min walk. We also enjoyed the peaceful neighbourhood. The cleaness is top.

There is no washing machine in the flat that we originally booked, but the host changed flat for us.

Black out blinds in living room and main bedroom would greatly improve comfort. Door stops for living room doors would improve safely with small children. Improve barriers/guard rails on stairs to garden for safety of children so they don’t fall though from height

An easy, serviceable apartment, with extra facilities, just watch out for the hill v

Frozen croissants etc in freezer for breakfasts, a nice touch. Good quality toiletries, plenty of toilet roll, extra food in the kitchen eg milk, cereal. All much appreciated.

The only thing was the hill up to the property from the town. We hadn’t realised what a steep limb up it was from the station. After that, we took the bus which ran every 15 minutes so problem solved, but I think that could have been mentioned on the booking.
