disappointment

The only positive aspect of this apartment was its location.

Unfortunately, everything else was a huge disappointment. The online photos are misleading – in reality, the place feels more like a converted outbuilding than a proper apartment. The photos make it look nice and cozy, but in reality, the interior is dark, gloomy, and unpleasant – it was not enjoyable to stay there at all. The ceilings are claustrophobically low, making the rooms feel even more confined. Additionally, the mattress provided for the child slid onto the cold kitchen floor, so the child was essentially sleeping on the floor. There was no air conditioning or any proper ventilation, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. The car access was very difficult – narrow, tight, and required constant maneuvering. The apartment’s finishing is terrible; everything seems done quickly and haphazardly. The staircase leading to the apartment was very unpleasant and smelly, with a noticeable stuffy air. It was so unpleasant that we wanted to leave as quickly as possible. The price – 1,500 PLN for two nights (approximately 353 EUR) – was completely disproportionate to the conditions. The listing describes the apartment as “Deluxe,” but it falls far short of that standard. Overall, it was a total flop and a complete disappointment.

Lovely apartment in a picturesque Slovenian town.

Really great apartment. It had everything we needed to be able to cook for ourselves and quite a large bedroom for European standards. There was a nice little outside area where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine or have some food and still be able to see the mountains. Communication was great and the host was super helpful. The town is absolutely adorable! May be one of the most picturesque we came across in Slovenia. We had a great time.

The parking entrance is quite tight, if you have a very big car it may be very difficult to get in.

Really nice, comfortable, well-equipped and very clean apartment, super nice host. Outside there is a great terrase, closed backyard, safe for small children. In peaceful surroundings, but close to everything - Kranjska gora, Planica, Tamar, lake Jasna, Vrsic… Wish we could stay longer.

The location is excellent, in a quiet area, there are a couple of restaurants and shops nearby. The hosts are very kind. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary. It was -15 outside, and we were greeted by a warm apartment. We were with two babies, but the cleanliness amazed us.

Modern apartment in a traditional village

Vania, the host, is such a lovely and a friendly person, eager to help and make us feel comfortable The apartment is new and modern designed. It has all you need for cook and have a pleasant stay The balcony is a bit narrow, but you still can have breakfast outside The location is in a small traditional village, just near to the Italy border.

Wonderfully furnished new apartment with excellent amenities. This is the best place I rented in Kranjska Gora. The hospitality of the owners is something that we will always remember. Highly recommend.

Comfy and friendly

The apartment was very comfortable. It is brand new but still very warm and nice. The kitchen has all the basic things one might need and the owners are super friendly and helpful! We enyojed the stay a lot and will defenately be back next year or even sooner.

Perfektní lokalita. Možnost parkování přímo ve dvoře ubytování. V pokoji bylo možné použit myčku ke které byly přichystány i tablety podle počtu dní. Dále pak kávovar s kapslemi, ručníky ale i pantofle.

Bardzo mili gospodarze. Fajna lokalizacja, piękne widoki. Apartament czyściutki, dużo udogodnień (pralka, zmywarka, suszarka, zestaw do kawy i herbaty, ekspres do kawy, ręczniki, przyprawy i naczynia niezbędne do przygotowania posiłku). Przyjemne balkony do siedzenia i oglądania widoków. W łazience mini zestaw kosmetyków na wypadek gdyby ktoś zapomniał :) Parking na zamkniętej posesji, uśmiechnięci i przyjaźni ludzie wokół. Bardzo polecamy!

Wszystko w apartamencie było zgodne z opisem. Kuchnia jest bardzo dobrze wyposażona. Do dyspozycji kawa, herbata. Łóżka są bardzo wygodne i pościel miła w dotyku. Łazienka jest przestronna. Apartament jest wygodny. Dzieci miały miejsce do zabawy i gry w piłkę na podwórku. Grill do dyspozycji. Fantastyczne miejsce na wypoczynek. Właściciele Miro i Vanja otwarci, mili i pomocni. Bardzo dziękuję za miły pobyt.

Ultra tiszta, kivételesen kedves házigazdával

A szállás minden szempontból tökéletes választás volt. Elképesztően tiszta, jól felszerelt és rendkívül ízlésesen berendezett. Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat itt, az ár-érték arány pedig kiváló. A szállás egy barátságos, kedves kis faluban található, ami még hangulatosabbá tette az ott töltött időt. A házigazda rendkívül kedves és segítőkész volt, a bejutás zökkenőmentesen ment, minden érthetően el lett magyarázva, és végig elérhető volt telefonon. Még a kicsekkoláskor is személyesen jött el elköszönni. Csak ajánlani tudjuk!

Sehr schöne moderne Ferienwohnung

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Dame des Hauses spricht fließend Deutsch. Die Zimmer sind groß und mit allem ausgestattet was benötigt wird. Einziger Nachteil: die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Wenn man laute Nachbarn im Apartment nebenan hat, ist das nicht so schön. Parkplätze sind im Innenhof vorhanden. Hier kommt man durch ein Garagentor mit Code rein. Die Preise sind angepasst an die jeweilige Saison bzw wenn Veranstaltungen wie Skifliegen in Planica sind. Aber im Vergleich zu Kranjska Gora immer noch günstig. Nach Planica kommt man in etwa 40 min. gut zu Fuß. Natürlich ist man in Rateče etwas außerhalb (etwa 7km bis Kranjska Gora). Wen das aber nicht stört ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder herkommen!

Siamo stati accolti da una meravigliosa famiglia di giovani sloveni. Bellissima la posizione appena oltre il confine italiano in un paesino tranquillo e silenzioso, camera da letto molto spaziosa, cucina fornita con tutto il necessario, biancheria morbida, letto comodissimo, frigo piccolo ma capiente il necessario, bello il giardino, accesso con l'auto sicuro con parcheggio interno alla struttura, doccia e zona wc separate che tutto sommato risultano comode. Presenti lavatrice, asciugatrice e prodotti per la pulizia a disposizione.

Doccia senza porta o tendina, si schizza un po' ovunque rendendo necessario asciugare il pavimento del bagno. Zona tavolo da pranzo un po' piccola ma per 3 persone è sufficiente, se le giornate sono belle si può mangiare fuori su un bel tavolo in legno.

Excellent séjour dans un appartement neuf et confortable situé dans un village calme et pittoresque.

L'appartement est neuf, très propre et calme et bénéficie d'un excellent emplacement au cœur du village de Ratece. A 5-10 minutes à pied se trouvent trois restaurants traditionnels excellents et des itinéraires de randonnée (dont la réserve naturelle de Zelenci et la piste de ski de fond de Planica). Les hôtes ont fait preuve d'une grande gentillesse tout au long de notre séjour, notamment en rajoutant un lit pliable dans la chambre pour un plus de confort de notre famille.
