An oasis

We slept there for the last day of our roadtrip in northern France, and that was the best decision we made ! The calmness. Not a single traffic noise. Just birds and water flowing. Just perfect ! Amazing location. Very cool place with a lot of history. The hosts did a great job at renovating it to make us experience how it feels to live in a French chateau. A must book !

Warm and friendly hosts and a very comfortable stay in a beautiful rural chateau

We had a wonderful stay at Stéphane and Sylvie's delightful chateau. Our room was very spacious with a modern bathroom and amazing views across fields. We really felt like we were in the middle of the countryside. Stéphane and Sylvie could not have been more helpful in recommending places for us to visit. We enjoyed visiting the local towns of Orbec and Chambremer and had a great couple of hours in Rouen on the way back to Calais after we left the chateau. Stéphane and Sylvie made us feel so welcome; it was like saying goodbye to friends when we left!

Beautiful and welcoming place

Beautiful, peaceful place to stay. The hosts were discreetly available and super helpful finding restaurants for us. Breakfast was a great choice of croissants, pain perdu ( proper French toast homemade)bread, rice pudding, yogurt, fruit and bacon and eggs. They sourced gluten free bread too. Would 100% recommend and return here.

Perfect!!! So relaxing

Absolutely incredible!! The loveliest hosts that were so welcoming. They made us a reservation at a lovely place not too far away and cooled the most delicious breakfast in the morning. Stephane offered to take us to a nearby farm the next morning where we tried some Calvados & Cider - such a lovely experience and really appreciated the effort! The room was just perfect and so relaxing. Incredible grounds. Just loved it here and will definitely stay again!

A lovely place to stay with excellent hosts. The house has been renovated with love and care and it shows. The room was perfect and with lovely views of the garden. The evening meal was restaurant standard and beautifully served in the lovely dining room. Breakfast was equally as good.

A wonderful find - the best!

A warm welcome from our fabulous hosts who prepared a lovely dinner and breakfast. It was so restful and enjoyable to stay in a gorgeous large room, full of character in a beautiful place. The setting is idyllic and the garden has lovely places to sit. We were very happy to return at the end of our trip, having been there on the first night.

A fantastic gem in a great location with super food!

We were given a wonder spacious suite. The owner has obviously a fantastic eye for interior design having improved the inside of the property immensely but in good taste. The bed was large a super comfy. We had drinks in the most peaceful garden before an excellent dinner. The breakfast was equally good and you could tell they had used top quality ingredients in all their food and drink offerings.the quality of the wine served at dinner was also very good. You need a car to get here but we were sorry we did not have the time to go for a walk or a cycle in the great countryside around the house.Nothing to fault here!

Location very near to autoroute for journey from Calais to the south. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner cooked by host, and breakfast was equally good. Very comfortable room, the property is in a lovely rural position so very quiet. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming to their home. Would recommend and return to.

Stephan and Silvie have an absolutely beautiful house or mansion which they have restored with love and they take pleasure in sharing that with people who stay there. It's as amazing as the photos show and as peaceful as you could imagine. The evening meal was fine dining and one of the nicest I've had. They are lovely people too and made us very welcome

A truly wonderful experience. The hotel is and ground are beautiful and comfortable, dinner was exceptional and the hospitality unsurpassed. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming, and hosted an evening like no other we had on our trip. I hope to come back again soon.

Enchanting chateau in blissful grounds. Very friendly - but not overbearing - hosts and so many considerate & stylish touches in the room and elsewhere. Excellent breakfast (no lunch required!). Despite being 'rural' the wi-fi and comms were also good for my needs. Extremely comfortable bed. And yes the photos are indeed accurate.... I will be back.

Beautiful and historic escape with great attention to detail

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful and historic - stylishly renovated with amazing attention to detail. If you love historic manors and chateaux, you will love this gorgeous house. Sylvie and Stephane have lovingly renovated this house themselves and their passion and attention to detail shows: both in the high quality decoration, comfy beds, bedding and their generous welcome. The breakfast is wonderful too: plentiful and varied with homemade pancakes! You will love this romantic and serene getaway, it’s perfect for a couple or just to relax and unplug from stresses.

Séjour particilièrement réussi en tous points - Un GRAND merci

Dans cette demeure de maître, Stéphane et Sylvie nous ont accueillis de façon chaleureuse et bienveillante. Soucieux de répondre à nos besoins, ils se sont montrés très à l'écoute et attentionnés. Le parc du domaine magnifiquement entretenu, est tout simplement exceptionnel et vaut le détour à lui seul. Notre chambre et sa salle de bains étaient lumineuses et très spacieuses avec vue sur le parc, une ruine du XIV siècle au milieu d'un bief, le tout entouré de forêt. Les petits-déjeuners/brunch préparés avec soin par Sylvie, étaient copieux, originaux et délicieux. Enfin nous avons particulièrement apprécié les moments de détentes offerts notamment par le "SPA nordique" en plein air, mis à notre disposition.

Honnêtement nous n'avons rien à mentionner :-)
