Overall it was a good hotel experience, not top notch in terms of service but OK.

Location was great. Breakfast was OK, not spectacular but acceptable. Surprisingly quiet at night, given that tourists are everywhere. Check-out was not complicated; just drop off room key at front desk and leave.

Hotel was squished between other merchants; it was initially hard to find the building. Door was locked upon arrival, and the guest needed to be buzzed in. When arrived at receptionist desk, no staff was immediately present.

Nothing really. Ezcept for the fact that reception reached out to us while our train was running late and they waited to check us in at 10pm, an hour after their closing time.

The front of the building was dirty and 'reception area" was poorly lit.Service was Very basic. Staff unfriendly. We were charged extra €50 for the same room to have twin beds instead of a double bed

Location and very clean

Staff are not available at night, and it will be very good to station a vending machine inside the hotel to buy either drinks, biscuits, or chocolates. I actually run out of drinking water in the middle of the night, and staff are not available for assistance.

big rooms and great location

no one talked to us about parking and we got our car towed by the police as parked in a big carpark used by the Saturday market. cost us a lot of time and money.

I doubt very much that I would book this hotel again

Large room with front facing Juliette balcony.

Uncomfortable beds Shower particularly small resulting in constantly bumping the tap which then ran very hot or very cold or completely off. Shower handle broken on one side and the doors not closing completely at the top. Breakfast was minimal but I suppose you get what you pay for. The state of the very small lift was appalling with a badly cracked mirror and badly ripped linoleum on the floor.

Good for one night pit stop

It was centrally located so right next to Cathedral but that means church bells ringing constantly! Plus all the bars and eateries nearby all closed around 8pm on a Saturday night. No one was serving food and ended up with kebab to eat. Breakfast in hotel 10euros each so didn't order it as overpriced. Busy noisy road below, though great balcony view.

Central location

Breakfast was good value for money and tasty too with plentiful coffee. The highlight of my stay.

Not bad and excellent location (although no info on long stay parking), but not worthy of 3 stars!

Breakfast was fine enough but no toaster and no cold milk for cereals

There was a good TV, easy to work out, however usually there was no user guide. No info on the room on what to see in the town of Lisieux. There was info in the hall but it seems exclusively on Dday landing sites and museums, outside of Lisieux and NO MAP OF LISIEUX. There was a machine to make coffee but no cups... and no explanation how to use it. There was a phone but no info on number to call in emergency. No notice and no info (usually on door) on what to do in case of fire, evacuation etc. The main drawback is that at times during normal working hours there was NOBODY AT RECEPTION. I came back in midmorning to collect my luggage, left unattended, and wanting to pay for my two breakfasts. I could have left without paying... I put my case in my car, then came back in. This time there was someone. I paid but never got a receipt of my stay...so apart of having booked on line I have NO INFO on the hotel!
