Exceptional quality of property; lovely room, modern and stylish fittings, a beautiful house, wonderful hosts, a comfortable bed, great parking, fantastic breakfast. Overall an 11/10, a fantastic location to stop for a night between Ile de Re and Calais, but we really felt we did a disservice to ourselves and the wonderful property by not staying for at least two nights!

The owners were very pleasant and friendly. Wi-Fi was good and there was secure parking at the premises. Good pizza restaurant close by but no other eating places within walking distance (apparently).

The rating at the property was 9.9 and although it's a shame to say, considering how well-received we were, there were many criticisms to make. The twin-bedded room on the first floor was seriously inadequately heated. The beds and floor creaked with every movement. No key to lock the door although there was a security chain. There was no table in room to work at, although we were able to use a downstairs table. Fortunately we were the only guests, but the toilet and separate shower room (at the other end of the floor) appeared to be shared.
