"The rooms were spacious. My family and I liked the kitchenette and the living space in the apartments. The hotel also gave us rooms close to each other."

Was a lovely place to stay, quite a chic feel, staff was lovely and accomodating with all our queries. Having a private pool was lovely but it's only 30 mins slots. Location great and easy walk to shops and restaurants.
Unfortunately being an old building there was no Aircon, room was so hot both hubby and I were too uncomfortable and hardly slept all night. Reception did have a fan which they gave us which kids used in the lounge though. Rooms spacious, clean, nice decor but minimal too. Overall lovely place but would be much better if cooler and not exhausted the following day

The aparthotel is beautiful both inside and out, very clean and tastefully furnished. The city centre is within easy reach, and we had a fantastic view of the bishop’s garden from our room. The photos on Booking.com accurately reflect what the property is really like. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, and we felt completely safe there. The double bed was very comfortable.
The armchair bed was unfortunately very uncomfortable. We found the breakfast perfectly acceptable on the first day, but exactly the same selection was served every morning. After a five-night stay, it became rather repetitive.

We didn't take the breakfast option - It looked nice and continental but we'd rather move to our own schedule. The room we booked was at the top of the property - luckily a lift takes you to all but one flight of stairs. We tried the pool twice - it is a simple indoor set-up - a bit cloudy and cool on first use but improved the next time. A shower and even a sauna are close, which is good, and it's close to the lift. The room wasn't too small, but offered little privacy amongst 3 persons. A fair amount of the room is under a sloping roof. The balcony is decent and offers a great view of the pretty park across the road which is very ornate and beloved of the locals. There was a car show on Sunday morning! :) The room was serviced everyday iirc. The hotel's fit-and-finish is very neat and up-to-date, nothing felt tired. Lisieux isn't the most attractive town (blame the 1940s), but there are a good selection of bars, places to eat and convenience stores close (but not too close) to the hotel. There is a close-by Cathedral, a very large deconsecrated church and ~20 mins up the hill the large Cathedral with the Basilica. We're not religious, but each location is impressive, and literally cool refuges in the heat. The Basilica is impressive, and the location was a great place for the eclipse. Just outside Lisieux is a Intermarche and a giant LeClerc hypermarket. Handy for stuffing excellent Normandy Cidre into the car as you leave! The hotel is largely a quiet place to be...
Ok, so they can't do much about the weather, which was hot and sunny throughout, but the room, being under a slate roof, collects heat thru the day. Luckily it has 3 openings so any breeze helps, and cools down significantly over night. A standing fan would help. Inside the hotel can seem very quiet - there's a 'The Shining' vibe with the restaurant not functioning - shame. Problems which don't come from reading the hotel's listing; - Kitchenette - almost complete, clean, simple and small - but only a hob and then a microwave+grill oven. Lots of lovely food can be bought, but without an oven not very easy to prepare. - Parking musical-chairs! The hotel attracts lots of guests in cars. There are spaces behind the hotel, within two sliding doors - 14 iirc. That's not enough, so after your day touring Normandy's sites you'll learn to stress about getting back to get a space (not all are easily parked in either). The alternative, as abruptly explained by the manager, is to park on the local streets - do not park inside of the second gate (which seemed superfluous)! "It is safe", though doubt all the cars inside the gates were guests! As the owner of a UK car that I am trying to keep in good order, having seen how insecure parking in French cities was in the past, this was stress that caused regret in my choice of location. I had to do it once, and could see my car from the apartment, but the town isn't totally tranquil overnight - at the weekend we were entertained by two drunken chaps who sat on the bonnet of the car in the space I used (not their car!). - The drone. The hotel is very quiet, and the streets at night are (generally). In the room was a lean-to style block for the toilet and shower room (modern and clean). It has extractor fans, and other kit. Which never stop!

The hotel is nicely situated in Lisieux, and it is easy to go out and walk to the landmarks such as the basilica, St Therese house, etc. The property looks great. It’s clean and has a really nice aesthetic. The front staff are friendly and helpful!
We had the apartment that had a double bed and two twin beds. One of the twin beds (which is actually a pull out bed) is dirty with a make up stain and some strands of hair. While the toilet is separated from the bath, I did not like that there was no sink or even a trash can around. The window in the toilet is also fully bare and everyone can see you (or your head) when sitting on the toilet 😧
