Location, location, location

Great location a few minutes walk from the beach and in the middle of the main Piazza of the city. The apartment is large and has everything that you could need.

Sunny Apartment in the Middle of the best of Ostia

You can’t get more central that this apartment which is right on the main plaza in Ostia Lido. Walk out the front door and the beach is a block away as well as a multitude of restaurants, coffee shops and gelato places. An easy walk from the train station. Two bedrooms and two baths are Perfect for a family or two couples.

Only two minor quibbles that didn’t really impact us. Future travelers may want to be aware that this building is a walk up (as I believe most of the older places In Ostia are). Second, it would be nice to have more places to hang things such as wet towels, jackets and purses.

The apartment is in an excellent location, right at the city square. The interior is great, all stylish with a vintage note. The complimentary coffee and snacks are a great touch, thank you. It has 2 spacious bedrooms with their own en-suite bathrooms, which was great! Cleaningness on the highest level! Additionally, there are lots of cleaning supplies, a washing machine and all you need for the stay, no need to purchase anything for housekeeping except toilet paper (what was provided was not enough for 4 people) We arrived late in the evening, and the host was very kind and met us to show us in and provide the key. Thank you for that. We communicated via WhatsApp previously for all we needed. Overall, a great value for money, highly recommended.

Not bad but not good either.

The beds were comfortable, two bathrooms were a plus. Location on the only nice spot in the city. Close to few restaurants however nothing special. Nice hosts. Coffe was there.

We wanted to cancel the stay as soon as we realised that this city is a sh**t hole. I regret that the host didnt let us cancel because the city was really so boring and the beaches not worth going. However I understand that i bought a room without the cancelación option. Shame. One of the toilet had horrible smell from the shower. You could hear everything through the wooden, old Windows. Nothing to do in the city. We went in october, all the atracción were closed. Most of restaurants were closed. Not worth the money. There was no duvet at all, only thin sheets to cover, too cold at nights.

really cheap sheets and lumpy pillows. uncomfortable mattresses. bring your own salad spinner, peeler, serving spoons, kitchen knives. if they were there I didn’t find them. two rooms and bathrooms separated by a small kitchen. they should pay more attention to the quality of the bedding since the apartment consists of 2 bedrooms and no living room so one hangs out on the beds

Entry through 2 buildings, too many stairs for older people. Actual # of the entrance was not on the site. spent 40 minutes trying to locate the actual building. Do not recommend for a one night stay. Proximity to the airport is good.

Right in the heart of it all.

finally we found the place in Italy with nice soft mattresses and big cushy pillows. The place is quite small with two bedrooms and a small kitchen, but it’s perfect for the location. Because the soon as you walk out the front door you’re surrounded by restaurants and shops and on the weekend it was a nice market set up on the plaza. Host were very helpful and even got me a private van to the airport set up. Will definitely return again on my next trip to Rome.
