Upstairs river apartment

The location was excellent.And the apartment was lovely.And the off road free parking was Great.

We liked everything

Spacious & Bright: The apartment was remarkably spacious, offering plenty of room for our family to stretch out. The natural light throughout the property made it feel open, welcoming, and airy, and the views were fantastic. Exceptionally Clean & Comfortable: Everything was spotless upon arrival, and the comfortable furnishings made it easy to relax and feel right at home after a busy day visiting family. Fully Equipped: It had all the facilities and amenities we could possibly need for a seamless stay, including reliable Wi-Fi. Having a full array of cleaning supplies and equipment on hand was a very helpful touch. Convenient Parking: Having smooth, accessible parking right on site took all the stress out of arriving and coming and going throughout our stay.

The TV aerial works great, but there were no streaming channels or smart TV capabilities (no way to cast from a phone), so we couldn't watch a movie as a family in the evening. A couple of the window blinds were broken. A small light near the door at the bottom of the stairs would be a helpful addition, as it gets quite dark coming in.

Everything

The property was larger than expected. The living room and kitchen area were huge. The location was great for the docks and the restaurants and bars.

The parking was very difficult - the kerb was quite high and when I reversed out, it sounded like my bumper was being ripped off. I only have a small car so to avoid damage I paid to park on the nearby bays. Unfortunately we were there during the heatwave so were unable to sleep in the bedroom as it was way too hot. Luckily the hosts provided another fan on our second day but we still had to sleep downstairs on the sofa and floor. Luckily there was plenty of bedding supplies. The shower over the bath does cause a lot of water on the floor when used but there were plenty of towels to mop up.
