The place was lovely and the owner was incredibly kind. I asked if he could provide some lactose-free breakfast options, and he was sweet enough to take care of it. The breakfast was excellent, featuring both sweet and savory products. The property is surrounded by countryside with a wonderful view; plus, besides the owner's super friendly llama, there are plenty of other animals nearby (fawns, hares, cats).
The only quirky thing for us Italians was the lack of mosquito nets on all windows. Since it was very hot and we had to keep them open, we suffered from mosquitoes a bit—but I noticed almost nobody has window screens here in Belgium, eheh!
