Good value for money overall but needs to be cleaner

Nice environment. Quiet. Room is spacious and nice. No added fee for parking or bringing a dog. Very good breakfast. Good communication with the owner.

The room and bathroom were not very clean. We had to remove 5 spiders from over the bed!! Bedsheets very low quality. Woke up at 6am with very loud machine noises 😏

Lovely, quiet, accommodating. Return in a heartbeat.

Breakfast was fantastic. Our host cooked fresh eggs and bacon every morning, and had a lovely fresh bread selection. Nice rural setting with animals all around.

Presence of grocery shops. Host obviously had no control, just a warning to shop when near the Marche.

Always nice to stay here

Whenever I'm in this area, I always stop by this B&B, I really like the place (isolated from noises, traffic, cities), I love to relax after a working day, and this is the right place. Breakfast is always amazing.

Beautiful Countryside Stay

The Host was friendly and very welcoming ensuring that we understood that we could use the full facility which included a kitchen that we invited us to cook our own dinner. Which we did. The kitchen was well equipped with spices, dishes and everything you need. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable.

We cannot think of anything that could be improved upon.

Great comfortable stop on the way to Holland

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and inclusion of a shared kitchen was great as we could use the fridge, crockery, cutlery and coffee machine. Very quiet location and comfy bed so we got a peaceful night and a lovely breakfast - great stop en route to Holland.

It's worth visiting.

Quiet place with all necessary to have a night there. The owner is friendly and capable. The room is clean, and the beds are large and comfortable. At the common kitchen you'll find all necessary amenities. There's a so-called bar in a fridge, where you can buy drinks. A parking spot is 10 meters from the entrance. It's a small one but enough for all guests. Breakfast was pretty good.

There was an unpleasant scent in the room. Although everything was clean. I think it is a problem of not enough drying of the bed linen.

Exceptional

Fantastic accommodation 3 km away from the town. We were delighted with the accommodation, and the hosts were fantastic and went above and beyond for us. I can't praise them highly enough. Fantastic breakfast freshly cooked. And the first time I've ever been anywhere with a llama in the grounds. Clean and comfortable - a total gem.

Absolutely amazing breakfast prepared by the host just for us with a lot of care and quality products. Very comfortable and morden room, including a superb bed! Good location to reach Ghent, brugge and ypres by car.

Remboursement accepté sur place mais obtenu après 15 jours de litige pour un logement non conforme

RIEN du tout !!! Le logement réservé ne correspondait aucunement au descriptif figurant sur la page Booking au moment de la réservation. À aucun moment il n’est précisé que seuls la chambre et la salle de bains avec toilettes sont privés, et que tous les autres espaces sont en réalité partagés avec deux autres chambres situées juste à côté les unes des autres et adjacent les espaces communs. Les animaux domestiques sont acceptés donc on peut se retrouver face à face avec plusieurs chiens.

Une odeur extrêmement forte et nauséabonde (odeur de déjections animales), rendant l’air difficilement respirable et provoquant une irritation des yeux. Cette odeur était perceptible dès l’arrivée, au point que j’ai envisagé de repartir avant même de descendre de la voiture. Aucune personne n’était présente pour nous accueillir : seules des feuilles préparées à l’avance étaient laissées pour chaque couple, sans explication ni accompagnement. Bien que nous ayons été les premiers arrivés et que l’on nous ait indiqué que nous pouvions choisir la chambre, le fonctionnement réel était en pratique “dernier arrivé, dernier servi”, ce qui crée une inégalité entre les clients. De l’eau (500ml) était proposée dans le réfrigérateur au prix de 1 €. Enfin, les espaces communs (coin repas, table, équipements de cuisine), présentés comme inclus dans la chambre lors de la réservation, se sont révélés être partagés, ce qui ne correspondait pas au descriptif affiché.

Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Rustige ligging.

Er was een probleem met mijn reservering. Toen ik aankwam hing er een briefje op de deur dat de eigenaar die avond afwezig zou zijn. Er was één kamer open, dus ik ging ervan uit dat deze voor mij was. Dit bleek niet het geval: terwijl ik sliep stond er ineens iemand in mijn kamer: het bleken andere gasten die later gearriveerd waren en die bericht hadden gekregen dat er een kamer open zou zijn. De eigenaar werd gecontacteerd en uiteindelijk werd de situatie opgelost. De volgende ochtend bij het ontbijt was de eigenaar aanwezig. Hij heeft zich zo’n 5 seconden laten zien maar vond het niet nodig om ook maar even terug te komen op de vervelende situatie van de avond voordien. Jammer, naar mijn gevoel een kwestie van elementaire beleefdheid. De B&B ligt naast een varkensstal. Omwille van de sterke geur is het bijgevolg onmogelijk om een raam open te zetten. De kraan van de douche was defect.

Enige nadeel was de douche, die had wat schimmel en de knop om op te draaien ging heel lastig dicht als je natte handen heb.

Een rustige overnachting met een heerlijk ontbijt.

De B&B is gelegen op een rustige locatie in het groen. Nog vóór we de gastheer ontmoetten werden we - vanachter het hek- welkom geheten door de vriendelijke en nieuwgierige lama die ons na onze lange reis een lach op het gezicht toverde. De kamer is eenvoudig maar van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren bij uitzondering de enige gasten, dus daarom voelden we ons vrij om gebruik te maken van de zitkamer en keuken. We waren zeer verrast door het heerlijke ontbijt, dat was zeer gevarieerd, overvloedig en met liefde gemaakt door de eigenaar. Als we terug zouden komen dan wel speciaal voor het ontbijt!!
