About this house rental
Spacious, open floor plan perfect for large group gatherings! Large yard with additional camper hook ups on site. (There is an additional $50 per night camping fee for each space, contact owner for more information). 2 patios and fire pits, and hot tub/jacuzzi. Lots of room for yard games. 1 mile from downtown Spicer and 3 of the areas most popular lakes (Green Lake, Nest Lake and George Lake). 3 miles from downtown New London with lots of shops and scenery. This property sits back off CR 32 with lots of privacy, peace and quiet. Plenty of hiking/biking and horse trails right around the corner. **This property is our home so things are not perfect, BUT they are clean.

Lots of activities for kids and grandkids. Pool and indoor basketball court were big hits. Lots of room for yard games. 8 adults 3 kids and a dog. Plenty of room for everyone.

There really is nothing to not like about where you spend your time on this property. Very secluded, quiet, and a large area to enjoy the outdoors. A swimming pool and hot tub are very nice extras. The house has plenty of space, and individual bedrooms with additional sleeping space. Unfortunately, as good as all the good is, there are issues. Broken cupboards, lack of toilet paper, whoever does the cleaning does not do a very complete job. There was a lot of dog hair, and you could tell the furniture had not been moved and cleaned under in quite some time. Dishes remained in the dishwasher. We took lots of pictures as the owner did not go through the house with us, so it is the only way to guarantee things were the way they were when we got there. And, with a sizable damage deposit, we were a bit nervous. As great as this place is, or can be, it just needs some care and upkeep.

The property was a good option for our 50th wedding anniversary. Our family had a good time and found something for everyone.

The property accommodated 7 women with everyone having there own space. That was nice. The pool, hot tub and yard area was great for our outdoor activities. Unfortunately, we had some issues with cleanliness (dirty dishes left in dishwasher, wet laundry left in washer - smelled bad, dirty socks and wrappers under furniture). We also had to have a plumber out during our visit as we had a very leaky toilet. Ceiling fan didn't work and back door didn't lock properly. The owners were responsive but, I feel like the issues should have been addressed prior to our arrival.
