Nestled on Lake Shetek, this lovely house on the upper floor offers 3 cozy bedrooms with blackout shades - Master suite sleeps 4 with a king bed with vibrator and lift for feet and head for your comfort and a day bed with trundle and TV, bedroom # 2 sleeps 3 with a queen bed, a set of twin bunk beds and a pull out trundle bed, and bedroom # 3 with a queen bed sleeps 2. Sleeps 9 in beds and 2 hide-a-beds. [Additional charge over 8 guests]

2 bathrooms: Main suite has ensuite full bath with tub shower and 2nd bath with shower.

Features a spacious open concept living room with 2 sofa beds, recliner and big screen TV streaming channels.

This space has a full well equiped kitchen with dishwasher, range, Refrigerator with ice maker, microwave and reverse osmosis drinking water at refrig and kitchen sink. Breakfast bar seats 8. Includes laundry washer and dryer. Guests have access to downstairs storm shelter.

This upstairs retreat has 2 private entrances, private front and rear decks with 1 gas fire pit, 1 grill and table with seating to enjoy the beautiful views and sunsets. Upstairs apartment is totally locked away from the downstairs area. Owner may be on site on the lower floor.

State Park access: This property is surrounded by Lake Shetek State Park. Park is accessible by foot or bike from the property, with miles of paved bike trails throughout the park, to downtown Currie, the historic Currie Dam, and End of Line Railroad Museum and miles of hiking trails, walking distance to Mini golf. Also has miles of snowmobile and cross country ski trails for winter activities. Park and county boat landings within 3 miles.

Trails Edge General Store is less than 5 minute drive with a cafe with home-cooked breakfast, lunch and supper, convenience groceries, propane, Ice, beer and bait.

Breezy Barn bar & restaurant is roughly 3 miles away. Check out the Painted Prairie winery and for fine dinning the Hideaway restaurant.

Key Largo and Pelican Cove bar/restaurant are also fantastic choices for local fun, outside bands, located across the lake on Valahalla Island accessible by car or boat.
