About this house rental
You can look far and wide and never find one like this again. We have a four bedroom house on two lakes! You can watch the sun rise over one lake, then watch it set over the other one. Too windy today on one lake? No problem, it's perfectly calm on the other. Never miss a moment of enjoyment. There is 335 feet of private lake shore to enjoy with a private beach!
We now have a 25' pontoon boat available for rent. We also have room for a trailer if you need.
This lake home has the ideal location. The back deck and bedroom windows are about 15' from the water of Lower Elk Lake. Enjoy a cool morning breeze through your bedroom window. Out the front there is another 165' of private shore on Elk Lake to go with the 150' of shore on Lower Elk Lake. We have a private sandy beach, hammock, fire pit, dock, and a boat lift on Elk Lake. There is another dock on Lower Elk. Along with the pontoon boat we also have five kayaks, three paddle boats, and two stand-up paddle boards for you to enjoy.
The home features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, dining room, rumpus room (with foos-ball table, electronic dart board, video games, and board games), eat-in kitchen, deck, two patio doors right on the lake, all on two-thirds of an acre. There are seven beds that will sleep up to ten people plus a futon and roll-out couch in this 1,600 square foot home. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and there is a washer and dryer. We have a flat screen TV, high-speed internet, and Amazon Firestick. If you have a Netflix account you can log in on the TV). You can bring up dogs if you'd like (if housebroken). If you don't like doing dishes there is also a brand-new dishwasher.
Elk lake is the best swimming lake in the county. There is a public sandy beach with lifeguards (certain hours only) only a very short walk away. There is a brand-new bike trail that runs from the public beach right to town.
Both Elk and Lower Elk are great sand bottom fishing lakes. In either lake you can go after Walleye, Northern Pike, Large mouth Bass, Crappie, and Sunfish. You're able to fish from the shore, one of the three docks or from a boat. There is even a fish cleaning table by the garage.
Only two miles away you can find Hoffman, MN. Hoffman is a small quiet town but you'll be able to get most of the necessities you'll need there. It has a gas station, a restaurant, a bar/restaurant, grocery store, liquor store, and other shops. In the town of Elbow Lake there is Tipsinah Mounds Golf Course. We have a special deal going with them, so contact me if you'd like to golf.
If you need a little more action than sleepy Hoffman is able to provide that's not a problem as you're only about twenty minutes away from Alexandria MN. Alexandria has lots of shopping at dozens of antique stores and other shops. There are plenty of restaurants, retail stores, golf courses, and even a winery.
We'd really love to share our little bit of heaven with you.

This was a wonderful family-friendly spot. Nothing felt too. precious to be used and everything was straightforward.

We had a great time at this house. We enjoyed the pontoon, kayaks and paddle board. It was a fully stocked kitchen with grill outside which made it easy to cook. Lots of games to play with (indoors and out) and movies to watch. Just wish we could have caught more fish. Also, owner was very accommodating and easy to contact with quick responses if you need anything.

Renting the property was easy and the owner readily available. We were disappointed at how dirty some of the areas of the house and property were. We enjoyed a lot of time on the lake and in the yard playing games and relaxing.
