About this house rental
Stay in a unique and original Old Town Hall with hardwood floors and 16' tall ceilings. Each bedroom has a unique feel and the loft spaces are amazing.
The building is a converted 3/4 basketball court that has had bedrooms and bathrooms added. This building is set up for large or small groups with plenty of space to spread out. Handicap accessible with a lift in the garage for main floor access.
Includes Washer and dryer, wireless internet, modern kitchen, Jacuzzi tub in one of the bathrooms and a dining area large enough to feed everyone.
Located in SW Douglas County, MN there are over 20 lakes within 15 minutes and the Kensington Runestone Park is about 10 minutes away.
In the winter, Andes Tower Hills Ski Area is 15 minutes away and the DATA snowmobile trails (Douglas Area Trails Association) right on the edge of town.

Our family enjoys coming to Kensington each year to the "Vacation" House. We enjoy the space for the Grandkids to play and all the different areas to make use of! The kids love all the games and play areas!! The kitchen is well supplied and Love all the bedrooms and the how much space each bedroom has!! It is always so clean and well organized. It is close to playgrounds, grocery store, gas station, and an awesome bar/restaurant!!! We love the Old Town Hall!! Plus growing up in Kensington...it brings back all kinds of memories of the Town Hall!! Thank you!!!

This was our third year staying here on our annual fishing trip. It never disappoints. Everyone in the group loves it. We’ll be back again next year.

This property was probably the most fun property we've stayed in. Our family had a blast with all of the games, puzzles and other accomodations. Everything was so well stocked and we had everything we needed and more! The beds were comfortable towels galore and the place was super clean. The Town hall has a lot of history and Julie has done a great job of preserving pieces of it! Julie was responsive and a pleasure to work with. We are already planning our next trip! Thanks so much!
