Relax and enjoy the beach in Resting Beach Face, a beautifully renovated three bedrooms, three bath condo. It is the perfect family getaway or friends destination in west Galveston Island.
Steps away from the wide-open white pristine sand beaches of Pointe West or a short stroll to the Beach Club with the Infiniti pool, restaurant, game room and more. This luxurious condo has gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico. Views of West Bay and incredible sunsets make this a vacation spot you will want to come back to again and again. Two pools at Pointe West provide patrons relaxing enjoyment. Winding and floating on the lazy river in the Sunset Pool are fun for both kids and adults alike, and what an incredible experience to lounge in the large Infiniti pool at the beach club with the disappearing edge which melts into the horizon! Enjoy food and beverages served poolside at the beach club, and live music plays Saturday evenings during the summer season. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy all the variety of winged and feathered friends which populate Galveston and Pointe West. Wetlands and marshy areas provide a plethora of environments for these beautiful creatures to reside, and areas to fish by both fowl and friends are enjoyed by many on both the Gulf and bay sides of Pointe West.
The unit is in a perfect location. It is a short walk to the beach and the Pointe West Beach Club which boasts the Infiniti edge pool, hot tub. The Pointe restaurant/bar, gas grills, a fitness center, game room and gift shop which are all available for use during your stay. The large living room/dining room has plenty of seating and is open to the kitchen, so no one is excluded from the conversations! A large balcony is accessible from the living room and master bedroom. The unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico is spectacular to enjoy from this beautiful unit. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a private bath. The second bedroom has a private full-size bath and queen size bed. The third bedroom has single bunk bed on top with a full-size bed with full-size trundle on bottom. This bedroom utilizes a full-size hall bath. This layout makes it perfect for a two-family getaway. A large kitchen is fully stocked with all small appliances, a microwave, dinnerware and cookware. A full-size washer dryer is available in the unit for your use during your stay. There is a reading nook beside the kitchen with a small balcony that looks to Galveston's West Bay.
When you stay in a Bay to Beach Rental Property, all you need to bring is your clothes, beach towels/chairs, sunscreen, food and you! We provide paper towels, toilet paper, large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, fabric softener sheets, hand soap, coffee, coffee filters, shampoo, body wash, and basic spices in each unit.
Pointe West is an exclusive resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean, groomed regularly and closed to vehicular traffic. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, workout facility with lockers and a game room. The Sunset Pool on the bayside has a small lazy river, hot tub, fire pit, gas and charcoal grills for the guests use during their stay. Enjoy the pool bar and restaurant, Smore's by the Sunset Pool, kid's crafts, Dive-in Movies and live entertainment. (We will send you the activity schedule upon booking your vacation or you can check the Pointe West Beach Club website for times/dates).
Golf carts, kayaks and paddleboards are available for rent from local island vendors. Please ask us we have information on these items and other things you may want to rent when visiting Pointe West.
You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston (The Strande), Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier and all the other great attractions of Galveston. Major grocery stores are located 20 minutes away, so we recommend guests stop on their way in, so they never have to leave their vacation getaway!
WRISTBAND POLICY
The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. This is a onetime fee during your stay, not a daily fee. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity.

Place was clean and pics accurately represented the property. Had a little trouble checking in but management was super responsive and was quickly fixed. Loved having my decent cookware to cook with! The condo is about 30 min from any major supermarket so plan accordingly. Most restaurants were a distance too. But again when you have a properly stocked cookware and plates etc. it didn’t matter, and we enjoyed our family meals. We didn’t use the pool or the other amenities just pretty much beached it. But waters were calm and all the kids ranging from 3yrs to 14 yrs were fully entertained. My son did a lot of surf fishing and my daughter swam or played on the beach. The condo was great in that we were not packed in like sardines which was perfect as it was my family and my brother in law’s family. The three full baths were great when coming off the beach for the day. Beds were actually pretty comfy. The trash shoot and elevator were nice in that you didn’t have to lug the trash down or all of our stuff up the stairs. Each building had a place to wash off sand or salt. It was a great place to just have a lowkey vacation or getaway.

We’ve been to Pointe West 7 times now and this condo was by far the most enjoyable one we’ve had. More space than we could imagine. The host of this unit made you feel at home as soon as you walk in.
When we visit again, it will only be with MaryAlice.

This is our second year in a row for a family vacation.
Everyone loves it. The condo feels like home the second we walk in. Linda and MaryAlice respond so quickly to any questions. They made our stay completely carefree. We look forward to returning next year.
