About this apartment rental
This luxurious 3-bedroom, 3 baths, is a relaxing bay side condo that has fantastic unobstructed views of the bay, and is only a short, quick drive by car or golf cart to the beach and the Pointe West Beach Club. The condo features a modern, fully equipped kitchen, free WIFI, HD cable TV and a large flat screen TV in the living room. There is a king size bed in the Master Bedroom, queen size bed in guest room, one twin size bed and two full size bunks in the third bedroom. There is also a futon bed in the game nook off the kitchen for extra sleeping space. The unit has all your linens for your stay, as well as a full size washer and dryer to clean your clothes after a day at the beach or pools. Located on Red Fish Cove, enjoy wade fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and crabbing right from your vacation backyard. Bring your camera, sit back and enjoy the bird sanctuary from the large private balcony featuring picture perfect sunsets every evening. The balcony is accessible from both the master bedroom or the living room and has plenty of seating for everyone. Leave your worries at home when you come to your Pointe West Vacation!
When you stay in a Bay to Beach Rental Property, all you need to bring is your clothes, beach towels/chairs, sun screen, food and you! We provide paper towels, toilet paper, large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, hand soap, coffee, coffee filters, shampoo, body wash, and basic spices in each unit.
Pointe West is an exclusive community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean, groomed regularly and closed to vehicular traffic. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, restaurant/bar, workout facility with lockers and a game room. The Sunset Pool on the bayside has a small lazy rive and pool which is heated, a hot tub, fire pit, gas and charcoal grills for the guests use during their stay.
Golf carts, kayaks and paddleboards are available for rent from local island vendors. Please ask us we have information on these items and other things you may want to rent when visiting Pointe West.
You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston (The Strande), Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier and all the other great attractions of Galveston. Major grocery stores are located 20 minutes away so we recommend guests stop on their way in so they never have to leave their vacation getaway!
WRISTBAND POLICY
The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. This is a onetime fee during your stay, not a daily fee. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity.

We had an amazing stay at this condo. It’s spacious and comfortable. It’s extremely clean and you can’t beat the beautiful views. We loved the huge master bathroom and that fact that every room had its own restroom. They left us plenty of towels and a very nice basket with enough laundry detergent, dish soap, plates, and coffee for the entire stay. This is a great family vacation idea, especially because of the Pointe West beach club. This unit is a short walk to the bayside pool and right across from the main pool and restaurant area. If you’re wanting a great family vacation spot, just book it!

House was comfy, had everything we needed and location was just what we wanted! Pool, beach and lowkey family time was just what the Dr. ordered!(if you have guests with disabilities confirm elevator is working, it didn’t work while we were there) Got some good exercise in though with all the stairs!

Relaxing spot very quiet with great sunsets. Comfy beds - nice being able to sleep in without the sun waking you up. Plenty of basic supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, coffee, and detergents, as well as, pans, dishes and cutlery. Upon arrival the elevator was not working, but it was working when we left making load out much easier than arrival. (Host contacted maintenence for a reset and stated the property is replacing the elevators.) The panel over the front door was missing and covered with a trash bag not very welcoming first impression, but condo was very cute with murals and beachy decor. The front door would stick opening and closing required an adult to open or close it. Trash chute was convenient. Very nice stay despite a few maintenance issues that exist.

My family of 4 enjoyed our stay at this condo so much! We had more than enough room and the condo was spotless! The drive to the beach club/beach was super easy! We would love to stay here again when visiting Pointe West!
