Don’t be fooled by the ultra-modern, white facade; this place still retains a nod to its heritage with exposed stones from the original fisherman's cottage. In summer, light pours through the large windows and the log burner and underfloor heating keeps you cosy in the colder months. A crisp, white background lets the seaside watercolours on the wall speak for themselves and the big kitchen is more than spacious enough for the buzz of family breakfast time. On sunny days, head out to the wooden deck looking out to sea (with an outdoor heater available), or tuck yourself away on the dining terrace for an alfresco seafood feast from the local fishmonger. The home faces a quiet lane leading to the centre of the bustling and charming town of St. Ives, where you'll find excellent seafood restaurants, cafés, indie galleries and soft-sanded beaches. Enjoy the local Cornish culture with ocean adventures like wild swimming, surfing and paddleboarding, all just a short walk away.
